I think he meant being behind the wheel and having someone die that you hit while driving. From the drivers perspective.

I am baffled as to how this could happen, and how a police officer can be involved given the "Day". It seems that there must be more information, than that which is currently known. Either the teenager was playing in the streets, or the officer crossed the Lines to pass, etc. The reason this is baffling to me is because Saturday was Halloween. Probably the busiest day of the year for "Pedestrians", and with the majority of these Pedestrians being Children (preteen & teens); and who like to play and horse around. It would stand to reason, that drivers would be more cautious on this particular day given the fact that many kids are in costume (many of which are dark in color) and are everywhere, and it would stand to greater reason that an Officer of the Law (or potential Officer) would be even more cautious. Is there more to this story, or is common sense concern for others no longer a prerequisite to becoming a Rochester Police Officer, if indeed the teenager was not at fault? I don't enjoy passing judgment, as I could have made the same mistake. But I just don't see the common sense factor.

Why are they asking Bob Duffy about 2 Henrietta teens death's? That's like asking the mayor of Avon about a city shooting...

Why don't you come out from underneath your rock, you and a few other around here sound really dumb, when it comes to others comments. Losing a life period is tragic. And for the rest of you who think anything out side of Rochester, Monroe County, is the "burbs", you are mistaken, get a freakin map.
