Again, don't worry. If you die and there's no God, then that's great. If you die and there IS...well, then you got a real issue, dontcha?

I'll make a deal. Pray for me and tell god to send me a sign. Untill he shows himself or science proves it, i will continue to not believe in those crazy bible stories. But seriously, how to you explain how all those animals with in noahs ark?

i will be praying for you.you. Are right there's nothing rational about God. Its all compeletly miraculous that's one ofthe beautiful things about a saviour who loved us/You enough to die to save us. man's made this so over compicated,he loved us,humans sinned,he still loved us enough to die to save us. i will pray hard for you. thanks for being open minded enough to give it a chance....there are some good churches here that will help to if u decide u want them to.

I don't explain anything. Trying to explain what God does, well, that's something that would just be hard to do. I also can't explain to you how we are on the one planet in this solar system that supports life, when no other planet does. Some things you just can't explain. God has probably sent you signs before. It's hard to see them when you turn your back on Him. Believe me.

Billy graham, it's called science. Why dont we all believe an invisible giant insect is looking over us? It is the same thing. No scientific proof of either. Seems nuts to think there is god looking at us. You all were raised not to question anything about your religion so any other thinking is instantly wrong.

Curious, First, actually there are only about 90-100 churches in the county. Sadly, in this county, too many churches are more concerned with "rules" rather than helping people grow in their relationship with God. The Bible makes it clear in John 14:6 that people can only have a relationship with God through his son, Jesus. Sin is the problem but this problem has a solution. Jesus. Jesus died for our sin, rose gain three days later. I beleive that because of my faith in God and in that the Bible is truth. That's the truth churches need to be teaching and that truth will help people more than anything else.

Well said. Although whether it be 100 or 200 churches in the county it is more than enough for this county to be on fire for Christ. You are. right churches are more concerned, many times, about thier numbers, tithes, programs or rules to be able to have time to teach truth.besides truth can be socially unpleasing so many churches are worried to offend someone....when will the time be to stand and stop tickling ears if not now? thankfully there are a few churches in this county that do teach truth, support others & don't worry about their reputation.thankfully some will stand and proclaim truth no matter qhat the cost...these churches i find typically have more liberty and less man made rules. they are concerned with following Christ and spreading the gospel. i would wish that all who were searching would find one of these churches who serve passionately even if it earns them untrue gossip.

And if you die and one of the other 1,000s of gods are real and you didn't believe in them?

If you think that is silly and don't fear it, then you know how I feel about yours.

And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Matthew 10:14

It is your choice to believe what is written in the Bible. Christians try everyday to spread the word to a world running rampant with sin and very low morals. It is the worlds choice to listen or not. If you have heard the Gospel story and choose not to believe it (for whatever the reason) you have made your choice. We as Christians need to move on and spread the word to those who may have an open heart and mind. This generation of people think themselves far to smart to be tricked by some 2000 year old fairy tale. Let them find out the hard way. That is what the Bible says. You can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink. As for Patriot Dad. My house serves the Lord.

Patriot Dad: you are right. We are to tell people about Jesus and Salvation, it is up to them if they believe or not.

Southern Alien: I know where you are coming from, I was there myself once, Jesus does not force Himself on anyone, and if when you feel the drawing power and turn away, that is your choice.... God give us freewill.

But for me I am so thankful that i didn't turn away, and let me tell you something that you might find hard to believe, " I did too" but that Bible is the only book in the world that is ALIVE.
By that I mean when you start reading [ with a open mind and a seeking heart] the Bible will open up your mind and you will understand things you only heard about and couldn't understand before.....Things that seemed like Fairy Tales before will become alive because God shows them to you.

Now I'm not going to try to convince you, but I will issue you a challange.... Start reading the Bible, and do it with a open mind, ask God to show you "if He is real or not"..... if you don't believe then you have nothing to lose..... But: if you find that you have been wrong,, then you have just save yourself from eternal torment.

Just try it.... I will pray you find the answer....I remember when I said the same things you have,,, and someone prayed for me....God is one of those things that you can't see, can't touch, but after you meet Him and He becomes Lord of your life..... then you see Him, and feel Him, and KNOW that He is real..... God Bless

Its not about who has morals. Its not about your opinion of how Christians view themselves. A true child of Christ understands Romans 3:.

Off with the dust I guess.

True understanding of the bible comes by revelation ....it is not important what books you read, what laws you follow , what church membership your name is on.that will not save you, only a personal encounter with Jesus will. Its a one on one relationship not something that can be forced under man's law.

the beautiful thing about free will is that you have the right to have your own opinion. Statistics show that the majority of those with mental illness claim to have no faith in a higher power and those who claim belief in a higher power are generally happier, more successful, and optimistic......just saying....

anyway no one will ever be able to shake my faith in Jesus & as said above, if one dies and finds they were wrong and there is a God then it is too late. good luck my friend.

And what if you die and find out that you were wrong and Allah is the truth?
