Does a crazy check count.?

Besides. Why would you want to work when Obama is going to take from the rich and give to my poor brothers and sisters?

I work 2 jobs and neither of them are in Scottsville. The only jobs here are at Dollar General, and they not only work you like a dog, but they will be looking to get rid of you for nothing.
What OTHER jobs are there in Scottsville? I'd LOVE to know.
Oh, and being on unemployment means that you got LAID OFF, so you are using the money that was paid in when you WORKED. Ain't no shame in being unemployed.

I agree. A person can't draw unemployment if they haven't worked and paid into it. Where are these wonderful jobs in Scottsville? What a laugh.

Factories have left town and Mexicans without green cards have been hired by dollar general and smuckers. People from here have to take a back seat to others. The mayor of this town should have been going to places to try to get businesses to come here. Mr Cline needs to be told to learn how to do something besides drive around burning city gas for nothing. Or he may be setting around looking at city workers work. When that many jobs leave town it is the mayors job to get that many back. Forget Obama and tell Robby Cline to do something he has had more time than Obama to get things fixed here in Scottsville.

AMEN TO THAT. So many smug people don't seen to understand your Unemployment INSURANCE that you've paid in is what you get paid when you are INVOLUNTARILY out of work. I've worked over 25 years till my company closed in late summer. I've searched and applied and can't find a job ANY WHERE. I can't afford to drive to Nashville or Louisville for a job.

I understand. I drew unemployment for 6 months in 2009 when the place I worked closed. I couldn't have drawn unemployment if I hadn't worked OR if I got fired. I'm not sure what the original poster is talking about.

In Ky, employers pay 100 percent of unemployment insurance premiums. Workers don't contribute at all. Taxes don't pay for unemployment in KY. All of this information is available at your local career centers. So anyone that wants to complain about people being deadbeats and what not, you don't know what you're talking about.

You are correct to my understanding. It is based on a percentage of the gross payroll dollars of an employer. So if you don't work you do not have any paid in on your behalf.

There would be more places around here to work if the Turners would let businesses come in. But they dont want any competition to their precious Dollar General.

Cuz Rod I need a job.

The other day one of those Yankee invaders accused me of being lazy by drawing free Obama money.

I really don't see anything wrong with taking from the rich and giving to me.

But I am a rooster who keeps his word. You think I could get a job driving one of those box town concrete trucks?

I have a lot of experience driving my chick papa truck at the annual truck pull.

Why don't you worry about yourself? Temp services should be illegal.
