I have Quit tuning in on Sat. morning. I miss Depp Britt. Can't they find someone else. Ronnie is not acting like a Christian.....

Ronnie plays in a good band. I have heard them several times. Ronnie is not drinking, cussing or disrespecting his marriage or God. Just because a place sells alcohol doesn't mean Christians can't go there to dance, spend time with friends and hear some good music.

I've heard them (Broken Road) a few times & they sing beer drinking, and cheating, country songs. I don't think that looks good for a Christian, gospel singer.(at least he used to be). I've seen pictures on facebook of him playing his piano with big beer signs over his head. Turns me off !!!

I'm really not understanding this. You guys seem to suggest that this Ronnie guy is doing something wrong. I'm getting mixed and unclear messages here.

I mean, the cheating I understand. Nobody likes being on the recieving end of that.

The country music, we'll obviously that's just retarded and undesirable

but beer drinking keeps getting thrown in here, yet noone is accusing him of beer drinking.

Is him being around the beer drinking the bad thing, or is his singing so bad that it's making the beer taste even worse than it already does?!?

I have worked with Ronnie for over twenty years and known him all threw school he is one of the best Christian people I have ever been around, you people would know what I am talking about if you ever heard him sing HEADED HOME.......he loves the Lord. so he that is without sin cast the first stone... I am sure there is more things you can talk about....so if you need to know anything else his number is in the phone book and he is also on face book I know for a fact he would like to talk to you and tell you all about his life as he has nothing to hide.....

Do you know about his bar playing? We went to White Plains Church a couple years ago to see the fireworks, & I couldn't believe the church had Broken Road Band singing Cheating & beer songs. Ronnie was right up on that tractor wagon playing & singing. Sure made me feel bad for him & the church. Bad testimony!!!

So, Bobby Boo, do you like his music or not? Don't you think there is a lot of classics that aren't considered religious, and that anyone can sign them? LMAO at you, maybe you shouldn't turn the radio on, so maybe you should have your "tradio" removed from your home and vehicle.....Hehehehee

Well JC as long as it's not that "I found a tear in my beer" stuff I can tolerate a lot of it, but it's not my preference. Just the old time rock n roll, and usually if it mentions Jesus in a line, that's ok too....

Have you taken a serious look at yourself, inside and outside, lately? Just because everybody don't see things your way and to your taste, doesn't make your way the right way. That's the reason they make more than one soda pop, more that one religion (so who is to say that yours is the right one and will get you to where you "think" that you are wanting to go)? You never know, when you get there they may have Bud Lite on Tap. Think about it..........

You don't need to pray for me. By your terms I am considered a "sinner". I do feel that I live a good life with consideration and compassion for others. I do not feel that I have to visit a religious shelter to prove my beliefs. So you really don't need to be praying for me, but you only need to look into a mirror and pray for "yourself" especially if you have a doubt in your cause for living. Rock on.....
