We bought 2 motors from this place at the same time they are both junk don't waste your money your better off to set your money on fire as said already! When you call to talk to the owner he always has a death in the family and is not there. You can call the Kentucky police department and ask their complaints of this business and will get the same answers.

They have installed two engines for me in the last 2 years with out a problem and both times exactly as quoted. The last car he did was on old clunker and gave me and them problems, they spent an extra day making sure that the car was right before giving it back and called me several times to keep me up to date even after hours then charged no more than promised.
Have put tens on thousands of miles on both cars and no smoke, maybe I'm just lucky and maybe some of these posts are from other garages?

Do they install them or do they hire someone else to install them?

They get the blocks most of the time already rebuilt then swap out the old block for the new one and install everything themselves.Anything like timing chain, water pump, oil pump, gaskets and filters, fluids are replaced for the same price as the parts stores charge.last car they did was a big POS LTD, The owner even threw in a set of mustang heads in the deal and now that car runs even better.

I have rebuilt and installed my own engines before and have had some fly by night places in BG put some in that were junk,if Ky motors didn't treat me right I would not think twice about getting the word out.

I believe that that person was trying to tell you KY.motors does indeed install engines or what ever they do. Are you really interested in an engine or just feel like busting some old dudes chops over a grammar lesson?

Just saying, I don't know how they do it now but a few years back they did not install what they sold, still probably don't. They contracted with anybody that was interested to remove, change the intake, throttle body and all sensors install and have to make it run right for for three hundred bucks. For two people doing it taking approximately three days, figuring out if they had no problems with the old sensors they made approximately seventy five bucks a day. Don't believe they could survive in a garage business at that rate.

As the poster said they order in the short block and they rebuild their own heads and install. As I heard it that was the weakest point of their engines, the heads. But there is always at least one bad apple in the basket. Good luck on a rebuilt apple from them.

I'm having the trouble with getting my core charge back he said he went to Texas to pick up engines. They deliver right or wrong. He'll text but not call. I paid 2,267 for my engine you would think he would respect your business guess not I'd advice every1 to find another dealer
