I just wanted to warn parents about a 1/st grade teaher. It is my opinion that she is a bully and harasses her students. She'll pick out about 3 boys and stay on them all year long about any little thing. Then at lunch she gossips about her students. I'm not trying to be mean. I just want parents to be aware, so they can watch their children closely. If any of my children ever end up in her class I would move them promptly.

I'll send Theodora down to her classroom. That will straighten her act up to the tune of a pair of Buster Browns.

Unfortunately teachers like this are everywhere. The Intermediate center has a couple that I know of. Bus drivers can be just as bad.

If you can't handle a job with kids, stay away from those lines of work. These adults need to drop the drama also and get a clue that these kids shouldn't be used like they are.

its ok Karen take it easy. Lol... how do you know what is being said at lunch unless you are there? Maybe the 3 little boys needed someone to stay on them. In my opinion teachers do not make enough, by the time summer is over I look forward to my kids going back to school. Some childeren don't behave and need a little a little structure in their attitudes.

My child had Mrs. Davis and she was wonderful. She instilled him the love learning and I for one am glad that she was his teacher.

. My son also had Mrs. Davis. He loved having her for a teacher. I also have known Natalie for many years, about 23 to be exact. We grew up together. She is a wonderful person.

you the parent should be giving the structure....not someone who isnt the parent

thats the problem with people today...if you didnt want to instill your values on your child...why even have kids....I mean if your just gonna have someone else raise them, whats the point...maybe you should give your kids up for adoption if you dont want them to learn what you know....or maybe you have no values....maybe your just a lazy parent

teachers make plenty, and if you look forward to your kids being somewhere besides your home...maybe they shouldnt be there

same goes for you.....why arent you the one instilling these things in your children

quit relying on others to teach your kids ....or they may learn something you dont want them to

If you have something to say about me or my family, why not come out from behind your computer and talk to us in person? I guess this is one of the times that I need to turn the other cheek. Have a great day.

This is for tools the perfect parent with the perfect childeren. I didn't say I didn't want my childeren nor were they terrible kids. After a summer at home every day of video games and running in and out of the house I am ready for a break myself. You have no idea what family values we have. We have a very loving family. I pick up my chideren every day from school and see at least one child disrespecting a teacher or another classmate.

I have to agree with Tools, teachers make plenty. Most of them are lazy and depend on a teachers aide(which is a waste of State money) to do their work for them. When I went to school I never heard of a teachers aide. They were real teachers then and took pride in children learning from their teaching. Yes some teachers still posess those qualities, some don't and do pick on certain kids. As Tools said, teaching and the learning process begins at home. If I had a child that was being mistreated by a teacher, they would find my hind end parked in that classroom until the problem was resolved.

Don't know who Karen is, but would like meet her. I do agree that teachers do not make enough. I am kin to a few of them myself. Yes, some children don't have any kind of structure and need some, but that does not give any teacher the right to emotionally abuse and mistreat children just because they can or just because for some reason they don't like the child. Some teachers have a "God complex" and need to get off their pedestal. She really was too rough on some children in her classroom. To the other parent who had a child in her class, I am very thankful your child was treated well, but it is my opinion that not all of them are. I just want to let parents know whats going on, not trying to be negative. Just want to protect our children.

Turn the other cheek, but the truth is the truth. I do know parents that went to the school and complained. They were told there is no way to prove this, the cameras get taped over every so many hours or days. There was also no other way to warn other parents to a least keep an eye on whats going on because you can not leave a paper trail on teachers, like they can leave on their students. I think the parents have a right to leave their opinions or comments on the teachers records, just like they leave opinions and comments on students academic records. I'm not here trying to be mean to anyone or cause drama to anyone. I just wanted to let parents know to a least keep an eye on their children in case they have issues similar to the ones other people are encountering.
