Does anyone know what the deal is with the abandoned brick home on Old Bowling Green Rd. near Hardcastle's Tractors? If you know the area, you know which home I'm referring to: Single story, brick that use to be very well kept but has clearly been sitting empty for a couple of years and being so unkept has clearly taken its toll.

I believe there was a Hardcastle family living there and it was always well maintained. I don't recall it ever having been for sell; it just seemed to go from being occupied to empty.

Geez! It definitely won't be bringing enough to satisfy that debt! What happened to the previous owners? Did they just abandon it?

I believe she use to work in the office at the high school. Not aware of prior financial issues, but if its true, that's really sad that they couldn't learn to live within their means.

Let's see if I can sum this up:

No one knows for how long exactly, but, it seems to have been abandoned; by looking it could have been that way for several years. But, someone else said that when one specific family lived there, it was very well-maintained.

Someone else thinks, "I think separation"...Im assuming that is a marital separation of some sorts??...Im assuming the family that owns...or maybe the family that used to live in it before it was abandoned....or maybe someone else...hmmm....

Someone else poses a question regarding a bankruptcy some 20 years ago...was that "old man" that posed that inquiry??

Then, "Blah Blah Blah" follows up the rear with her $2.00 Financial Advisor Special, based, of course, upon the legitimate and well provided financial statements and statistics above. But, she goes a little further, and places a face on it, although she admits that she doesnt even know for sure if that is the person who the other posters dont even know for sure owns the house or had money issues 20 years ago. Very wonderful statements your promoting to the world. Most people dont read the assumptions and uncertainties written in the post.

Summary in a nutshell: Think before you speak. You can damage a person's reputation and name with your "maybes" and "I thinks". Think before you judge based upon silly guesses, posed inquires and assumptions. Think about the possibilities--you have no idea what kind of life a man lives until you walk in his shoes. You sure the heck dont even have a clue about a man's life if you dont know even know what man your looking for in an attempt to take a stroll in his shoes. And in closing, we are in a recession, people, for god's sake. Have you not read the newspaper.... "Mortgage foreclosure crisis!" It's been making headlines for awhile now.

No, I know nothing about this house or the people. I only know about what kind of things people want to say.

Those are the people that I knew as the last owners. Is it for sale or Master of Commissioner? If for sale, how much?

Greg and Twanna's son has been in jail a couple of times in the last little bit. Not sure of his charges. But she still will look down on others. Not one of my favorite people.

I'm not in Scottsville everyday, but the next time I'm there, I will. It won't bring $200k in its current condition (or how it was before it was abandoned). Sitting all that time unoccupied is EXTREMELY hard on a house.

I've known Twannna for years and I always thought she was a very nice lady, or at least she was to me.

That entire bunch of noses are so high in the air, none of them could go out in a rain storm without drowning. The inverted nose problem goes way back. No guess work about that.

Awww yes, that is very true in many ways. The best one is how our government is living (not within their means). That is also is what is going to happen when our government can't pay the bills anymore. That's when China will be our Supreme rulers. BANKRUPT!

Government spending accounted for 30 percent of wages during the end of the Great Depression and it turned out great. Stronger than ever.
