I see Robbie Cline remaining mayor. I'm not really familiar with Secore. I guess he would be my second guess in getting the position if Robbie was to be unseated. I think Erik is a little too young for anyone to consider, and I just don't see Tad Taylor getting it.

The word on the street about Tad is Laughing at Tad. His wife has no connections to get him votes. I wish a good person would run. But this bunch of dead beats don't have a chance. Cline will beat the fire out of them.

Although I see the concern of age as a valid one, I do not see age as a measure of ability. Ability is best measured by experience and the portfolio of these experiences. Youth although stigmatized by inexperience, instability and unsuccessful results, the stigma is antiquated and without a place in 21st century politics. It is said that that one great thing about being young, is you donít know yet, that you canít possibly be doing the things that you are doing. In other words, I have not yet conceded to the fact that this is as good as it going to get, that there are no companies looking to relocate, that you are not good enough employees to attract them. I am young enough that I have not yet given into our fate as a dwindling light among our neighbors. I am younger than the average politician, but I would like to think Iím not an average politicianÖIf I didnít think I could be an above average politician, who could bring new ideas, unwavering energy and a determination to success to the table, I would have never filed to run! I am able and capable, I have life experiences to back me and I have the resources win in the end game! I did file, and I am running for Mayor of Scottsville, 2010.
Lastly, I would hope that any other person who is being considered for a public office would not hide his thoughts behind the cloak of anonymity. I believe in full discloser, honesty and fair debate and would hope that all my opponents do as well.

For the record I have not posted anything on this thread nor have I bashed anyone. If you truly know me you know I speak my mind straight up and straight to the point without hiding.

I have no problem with anyone running my record I welcome it but also run records for every person in this race.
And post the results here for everyone to see.
Fair enough Erik..........
Also post valid current living address's for the past year.

I have no record and my wife has not or would not do anything to affect her job to fix it as you stated.
I have no cross to bear with anyone running and I respect Robbie Cline greatly .
I just feel I can do better for the community.
I had hoped for once that this race could be ran like adults .I see thats not the case.

Erik n I have talked at length before this race on the fact that he does not quilify to run because he doesnt live in Scottsville and hasnt for some time.
Theres more to Scottsville than Wine and Cigars.

If any of you want my stance on anything call or come by and ask.
And if your curious about OMG post Ill be sure to enlighten you on that also.
And Jewels dont you have enough problems of your own without bashing me.
You dont know me period.

And BTW please leave my wife out of this.

So I hope everyone feels better now on this topic I sure do and I look forward to each of you coming by and talking to me on it.

Very well said Erik. I'm thinking you might could bring about the change we need. I, like you, don't think age should be a factor, but unfortunately is usually always is. I have had an opportunity to meet you at a mutual friend's business one day, and you seem to be very politically inclined for the position. Good luck!

I'm good. My problems are just that, my problems. Nothing I can't handle. I've had far worse problems in my life than any that I may be facing now. After all, I've always got my "big girl" pants on, but thanks for your concern! And hey, why do you want to direct your anger at me? I went lightly on you considering what others had to say here. Have a blessed day!

It is very unusual, I have not commented on this Topic until now. I must say, I find it very tacky and unprofessional for a political candidate, to make such an irresponsible statement directly to Jewels on a public forum. My vote will be cast for Rob Cline. I say what I think too, but I am not a candidate for public office. The only problems I see Jewels has is the flack she get's from various arsewipes.

Una ... I think Sammy Holder could run both offices (Sheriff and Mayor) at the same time. VOTE Sammy (bionic peter) for Mayor / Sheriff

I must admit, Sammy is top notch and I am confident he could do the jobs. He is always patroling the square.

Oh, and one last thing. You may think you know who I am, but sorry I'm not HER. I don't think the lady I'm assuming you think I might be would say one harsh word about ANYONE. You shouldn't base your analysis on the screen name. I will be the first to admit, I'm somebody, but yet a nobody (at least to anyone holding or running for any elected position here.)

I just noticed the OMG post had been removed. You know the one accusing Tad of beating up his ex or something. I never heard this story, and was wondering if there was any truth to it. If there is, then I don't think we need someone who has a short fuse or would raise a hand to a woman as mayor. Just curious Tad, would you care to elaborate on that? You said ask and you would enlighten. Could you do it here? I'm don't care much for phone conversations, and I don't think I would want to stop by your house for the enlightening. If you chose not to then I understand completely.
