Yep, Mark Noah does the sentencing, not a judge. It was not child molestation, it was hazing. While it was not right, sometimes I think you people would have accepted nothing less than lynching the kids that did it by a mob with pitchforks and torches.

NOAH IS WEAK! You said it perfect. NOAH IS WEAK! Since in office how many plead bargains made that were only in the criminals best interest? How can Beloit grow and be known for a nice place to live and raise your children when all that can be said is Criminals ( guilty by facts only) get off free or easy in Beloit,Kansas!

Get a life said: "Mark Noah does the sentencing, not a judge." The facts are: The Attorney presents a motion for sentencing..The Judge makes the final decision. That says both to me!!The Judge is suppose to take in account what the law says is just punishment and compare it to the offer being made.
Confused in Kansas mentioned CHILD molestation . Do they let suspects out to keep tax payer dollars down because the accused has expensive health issues?

Kansas State frat suspended over hazing
MANHATTAN, Kan.(AP)-- A judicial board has suspended the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Kansas State University for a September hazing incident that left a student was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning. An 18-year-old freshman was hospitalized in late September after he was found unresponsive at the off-campus fraternity house. The man recovered and is still a member of the chapter. The Interfraternity Council imposed the sanctions on Phi Delta Theta. The fraternity will be on probation until September 2011, will have to pay fines and won't be allowed to have any event involving alcohol until February 2011. Pat Bosco, K-State's vice president for student life and dean of students, says the school was "fortunate to have a teachable moment rather than a memorial service." If Phi Delta Theta violates its probation, Kansas State would withdraw recognition of the house.
