From my experience Victorias secret IS magical. Though some of us don't need magic. Our Mormon underwear isn't magical, just sacred.

Damn. Really? I don't know who the kid is singing to, but my question to you is: Does not being attracted to another race make you racist? Because if that is the case, I know quite a few racist black people.

Most of the time yes, because you don't see the beauty in others that are non white. RACIST.

hmmm. My white daughter, straight A student, great kid had a black boyfriend. His mother called me and told me to keep my kid away from her son. She didnt want a white girl dating him. Her words not mine. Is she racist ? I think so. I may be Mormon but the black mom was the racist. Open your eyes, from what I see so are you.

You should see racism in your cult as well, but you're blind that way.

I have seen it in my church. Just like I have seen it in every church. Racism is not a Mormon issue. It's just an issue period. Mormons are not perfect, but I guess you knew that. You will find racist Mormons , just like you will find racist JW's, racist Methodist and TONS of racist southern baptist. It certainly isn't a doctrine we practice, just a few dumbasses who see color more than they see what is on the inside. Don't pretend it is central to Mormonism. You only make yourself less credible.

But it was Mormons who uniquely preached that black skin was the mark of Cain. All the way until 1978.

They sanctioned racism until then.

Was it Mormons who brought africans to america and made them slaves?? Was it the southern Mormons who kept them? I would venture a guess at no. Wake the hell up sunshine.

Gaaaaaaw-leeeeee! You're just getting snippy there arent ya? Nevertheless, your cult wouldn't even take black people (that mark of Cain) into the most basic level of membership as recent as 1978. In fact, your book of moron even stated that if people became more righteous their skin would lighten, and if they became more evil, their skin would darken. I'm sure you believe all that too, don'cha, my little sweet deedum-boo?

awe my sweet little sugar dumpling, nevertheless I made a point that you can't refute. I only know what I've been told or researched about membership in the 70's. I wasn't born until 76 and I've been a member since 91. No matter what the church did or did not teach, Mormonism isn't the cause of racism.

I'm concerned with the present too - but I don't have my eyes shut tight toward the past. Your cult was founded on a pack of lies, and continues to exist today under them. It treated blacks like crap until 1978, and treats gays like crap today. A cult founded on lies does not get more true with time - as much as you may like it personally, the history is false, your founder was a crook, a liar, and a child molesting rapist, none of his "translations" have proven true - not one shred of evidence - your cult is greedy and takes its wealth and builds multi-billion dollar shopping centers over either internal or external charity (the numbers DO bear this out), and does not even disclose its finances to anyone, including you as a tithe payer - only in countries where it is required to by statute. Its temple ceremonies are pure crap, reducing man's relationship to "god" as a bunch of incantations, passwords and handshakes, and it starts with a premise that it's "christian", and when you really dig into the doctrine, it's anything but.

And yes, that doctrine does include the practice of plural marriage. See Doctrine and Covenants, Section 132.

It doesn't matter that your cult caused it; your cult perpetuated it. Your cult certainly wasn't a part of the Civil Rights marches, protests and civil action in the 1960s. Dr. Martin Luther King was certainly not a Mormon. Hell, even your "Jesus" is still today depicted in your paintings as blond haired and blue eyed, straight out of the KKK. I'm sure that the KKK could argue as you have that they didn't start racism either. Really flimsy. And it's not a point that needs refuting at all -- Adolf Hitler didn't invent anti-Semitism either, but he sure advanced it during his reign of terror.
