Councilman Amick had some trees down from storm damage so he hired a company to haul it away. He asked them to take it to the city dump.
NO ONE is allowed to do that, but he told them it was okay. The truck tore down lines and damaged a transformer resulting in a massive power blackout and costing 400,000 to fix. Terry has denied to pay the city at this point and so has the company he hired
HE WANTS TO BE RE ELECTED....I DON'T THINK SO

No he didn't do it personally, he instructed them to dump HIS trash there, which isn't allowed. Contractors are not allowed to dump there and he told them it was okay. Over 450,000.00 and so far NO ONE has paid any bills for it......the contractor is fighting it saying they only followed Terry's instructions. So as of right NOW YOU are footing his bill because he was too cheap to pay to have it disposed of like you or I would have to do. That is the plain and simple truth.

Jury awards $2.5 million to teen beaten by Klan members
Story Highlights
Verdict includes $1.5 million compensatory damages,$1 million punitive

"We look forward to collecting every dime" says SPLC trial attorney Morris Dees

"Grand Wizard" Ron Edwards testifies "I stay within the law"

Case stems from teen's beating at county fair in Kentucky

By Ann O'Neill
CNN

(CNN)-- A jury awarded $2.5 million in damages on Friday to a Kentucky teenager who was severely beaten by members of a Ku Klux Klan group because they mistakenly thought he was an illegal Latino immigrant, the Southern Poverty Law Center said.

The jury found that the Imperial Klans of America and its founder wrongfully targeted 16-year-old Jordan Gruver, an American citizen of Panamanian and Native-American descent.

The verdict included $1.5 million in compensatory damages and $1 million in punitive damages against "Imperial Wizard" Ron Edwards.

The law center said before the verdict that a large damage award could break the Klan group, allowing the teen and the law center to seize the group's assets, including its headquarters, a 15-acre compound in Dawson Springs, Kentucky.

"We look forward to collecting every dime that we can for our client and to putting the Imperial Klans of America out of business," said SPLC founder and chief trial attorney Morris Dees, who tried the case.

Gruver, backed by the Southern Poverty Law Center, filed the personal injury lawsuit last year seeking up to $6 million in damages from the Imperial Klans of America and two of its leaders -- Edwards and "Grant Titan" Jarred R. Hensley.

An all-white jury of seven men and seven women deliberated for five hours after three days of testimony. The suit allegedthat Edwards, Hensley, and the Imperial Klans of America as a whole incited its members to use violence against minorities.

"The people of Meade County, Kentucky, have spoken loudly and clearly. And what they've said is that ethnic violence has no place in our society, that those who promote hate and violence will be held accountable and made to pay a steep price," Dees said.

According to testimony, three members of the Klan group confronted Gruver in July 2006 during a recruiting mission at the Meade County Fair in Brandenberg, Kentucky. They taunted him with ethnic slurs -- inaccurate ones -- spat on him and doused him with alcohol .Two of the men, including Hensley, knocked Gruver to the ground and repeatedly struck and kicked him. Wake up.

The actual truth is that Terry burned down the substation and it is still in the process of being rebuilt and it cost way more than $500,000 and you are confusing that incident with when Matt re-energized another switch. They were 2 separate incidences. You did have however get the promises right that were made to Matt. Thankfully though Bill is still in office so we dont have anything to worry about for a little while.
Thank you for the correction. The last thing I wanted to do was pass on incorrect data. The truth is enough without any embellishments.

So, why wasn't Terry and company being reprimanded for this?

You want him out because he tore up an electric box, but yet you all voted John Lizenby in on different times, and he used food in the jail on different times to get girls to due sexual favors! He settled out of court four differnt times costing us the tax payers 1.5 million dollars in tax payer money! That's why for a long time our property tax was the highest in the state! Everyone acts like they hate sex offenders this community will put them in office! I say if this is the worst he's done than Terry is doing a good job!
