Merry Christmas Eve everyone, just a lil story I would like to share about my day. We went to Scottsburg Indiana today for Christmas with Buster Dulaney's side of the family. While we were waiting for everyone to get there, Lil Addy ( 5 years old ) wanted some new underpants, so I said, I will go to Walmart while we are waiting.... Not knowing what was going to take place, God had a plan for me. I was in children's clothes area and a young girl ( 26 ) thought her cart was in my way, and pulled it back and said....oh excuse me. I looked up at her as tears were in her eyes and said, " that's ok honey... you aren't in my way ". Ofcourse I was curious about the tears and asked if she was ok. She said she was just trying to find a few things for her kids so they would have a gift for Christmas, explaining to me she is living in someones out building with her 4 kids, I ask if she had a phone so she could call me because I have a few extra gifts at home. She said no....she had someone drop her off at Walmart with 50 bucks and was waiting for them to pick her up. I was wanting to help a needy child for Christmas, and ended up being a needy family instead that God put in front of me. My eyes were full of tears by then. I hugged her tight and told her everything will be ok. I told her I would pick out an outfit for each child and leave them at the service desk for her. Meanwhile as I'm hunting for clothes for them, a lady walks up by me named Diane, what a Blessing . We started talking and then she asked where the girl was and I showed her. She went to her and when they got back to me, they had 4 pair of boots/shoes for the kids. Diane and I hugged her tight and told her to get her stuff from the service desk...again. Diane and I decided that the kids needed a toy a piece, so we took off for the toy department, we then ran into a Walmart worker, I asked him if they had a clearance and he said " No, but what did you need ? " . I then explained the story to him. He said he would meet us up front after we finished shopping. Diane and I had so much love in our hearts, that we filled 2 baskets of stuff, including 4 wool blankets, 4 furry blankets, 5 pillows, outfits , shoes, and about 4 toys each for the kids. We finally made it to the cashier and ( Mike ), the store associate....asst mgr met us there. They took 10 % off of every item we bought. We had customers, managers, and store employees watching the whole thing. We had the girl ( Linda ) paged to the service desk and asked the attendant to keep her company. When we made it thru the checkout, we went to the service desk with the baskets and about 30 to 40 people watching... When we went around the corner, she just grabbed her face and started crying deeply, she grabbed me and just held me in her arms, and then grabbed Diane. She said nobody has ever done anything like that for me before, and I said Merry Christmas, they have now. When I turned around everyone started hugging Diane and I and tears were rolling down everyone's face. I felt blessed and so glad I paid it forward ! Life is Wonderful and I thank God for sending me those Angels ! Have a Merry Christmas

Thank you for a wonderful giving gesture on both your parts, sometimes I don't think we really understand how blessed we are if we have healthy children, food to eat and a place to live, in the world today its easy to take these things for granted, because we want more and more so if you have healthy children or grand-children and food to eat and a place to live say a little thank you because there are so many that do not have these blessings, and with a grand-child who is going through chemotherapy and under 5 yrs old, we are thankful for every minute that her parents get to spend with her, because no matter how bad she feels she still has a smile on her face, so don't take the so called little things for granted, and be nice to someone today, they may need it,and it may do you some good to.
