For those of you who shop at Wal-Mart in Scottsburg, we lost a wonderful man, a common face that always greeted me at walmart. I found him very interesting and made an effort to always stop and talk. Dean told me many great and colorful stories, all about his life experiences. We shared stories, our faith, and even some politics...... What a wonderful blessing it was to know this man. May God bless his family. Thanks Dean, We love you........

Please tell me it wasn't the man with the really white hair. He is so nice, he once told me the whole place lights up when I come in. Really needed to hear that at the time. Wonderful man. I am heartbroken for whoever it was, but I hope it isn't the guy I think it is. He's really dark complected if it's the man I know.

He would often wear beads or a corsage of some sort. Almost always wore a hat.

Yes it is. Always smiling and joking and flirty with the women just enjoying his life.

Dean was the best, I always thought he would die happy under a lovely lady. He told me one time that he dreamed that my breast was on his face and he died a happy man! Lol he was crazy like that, he always gave me good advice and told me he loved me and cheered me up every time I seen him. I love you so much Dean and oh how I'm going to miss you.

Oh my so very sad tonight after hearing this, I hate to break this news to my 13 year old son... He called this little old man Dad and hugged him every single time we seen him, this man loved my son to death and it started because he said he wanted to take my son home with him because he was such a good boy about two years ago:(we will sure miss seeing and talking to him!

You are missed Dean. By so many.... when will people ever stop drinking and driving? Its never them who get hurt....they don't make the penalty strong enough for the crime.

i looked up this Gilbert L. Mullis guy and come to find out he has been in trouble with the law many times for driving under the influence/public intoxication! he recently had his license reinstated after a DUI in August of this year.

http://mycase.in.gov/default.aspx
under monroe county
then click on criminal and citation
click on defendant
type in Mullis Gilbert and you will get a list of charges
