My husband is kenneth wright the man that made it out of the truck and out of the tn river. I'm so glad god blessed me with his survival. I would like to make a comment on the road this happened on if kenny's life is what come out of this and not his uncle I hope that saltillo would see this as a real tragedy that could have been prevented with a gate that would be locked at dark to prevent another family from ever having to go through this. A speed bump, flashing signs, or even warning signs can not be counted for a prevention. I feel after hearing of other tragedy's like this happening before (three on record) it would be taken very seriously. It shouldn't cost lives to be taken as a problem. It is a main street that goes straight into the river. Yes there are signs but in the dark who knows if anyone would have seen them and for someone who was from out of town they would have never known about the river until it was too late.

I worked with Louis for 6 years and carpooled with him every day. I was so said to hear about the accident. God Bless you Louis. I miss you. How can a city not have warning signs and barigades to prevent this type of accident. Misty I am glad your husband made it out of this loss. It breaks my heart to know Louis died this senseless death. Louis Rest and Peace you will be missed.

Misty. I've glad your husband survived this horrible accident. Louie was a really good man - his laugh always put a smile on your face. Louie has a 10 year old son, Jake, surviving him. Having to tell him about his dad was a very hard thing to do. Since Louie was in TN and his son and family are in CA the only information we had and still only have is what we read on the internet. Would like to talk to Kenneth and hear exactly what happened.

Alcohol has been a major contributing factor in most of the previous accidents and I think the investigation indicated the same here. Tragic and the families have my sympathy, but own up to the problem here. Could they do more? I'm sure they could but even what is there... multiple stop signs, warning signs of Tennessee River ahead ect... you would have to be blind or drunk or maybe blind drunk to not see and know what was ahead. I pray that alchol does not claim another member of this family or anyone elses, here or anywhere else, but until you can recognize the real problem, it probably will.
