If it is the red brick house with the white pipe fence the house us worthless. Floor rotting out throughout the house. The property is the only thing worth any money. And then is St. Landry parish with the good roads and drainage, not much!

along time ago there was a park next door to that house, the guy that use to own it was busted for making drugs in that house and he had opened up a park and invited everyone for free hotdogs and some other stuff.
I also heard it needed alot of work and the pool(if this is the same house I'm thinking of)needs alot of work and to be filled in with dirt.

The house on NOel did you get to go in? No one will open the house for us. We really don't care about the house and just want the land if we can get the chick selling to understand the damage to the house and every year it is on the market the value goes down.Are there holes to the ground in the floor?

Yeah it is a baaaaad house. A young girl was murdered there in 1977 and they say her ghost still stalks the house and yard.

You have to be kidding. We went look at the house this week, we could not get in but looking in one window I saw a fan moving and my husband did not. The lady going to show us the house said maybe a window had a crack in it but I went all the way around and no window was open. There is also a well walked path going from the front to the pool in the back we could not understand the people around said we were the only people that had been in a while.

A girl was murdered in that house?? I grew up on Noel rd just down the road from that house from 1970 til present and I never heard that

Mr Reed Noel built that house and no one eas murdered there. He and his family moved when the children grew up. I dont remember the names of the children tho. After they sold a couple bought it where a man was arrested for drug dealing..that is true.

hey i went in that house a few months ago. the floor in the dining room is gone. the house smells really bad and is infested with mold. the realestate agent would not go further than the front door of the house. thier is still electricity in the house though. and is full of old stuff. i would beleive that the house is haunted, but the property is nice.

The old lady that had it before Mike wasnt too clean.....she wasnt able to clean because of disabilities. She had lots of animals too. That house was beautiful at one time when the Noel's had it. I just dont remember anyone dying in it. As I stated before the man who had it after the Noels was arrested for dealing..and then not long after the elder lady moved in but she didnt stay long.

TiS MwA, were the original people living in the house any relation to Reed Noel? I know Reed and family. They are all good people. Very neat people indeed. I know that they keep their homes in tip top condition. mkds

Yes it was Reed Noel and his family. I think they are the ones that built it originally.

I remember when Reed built that nice home on Broadway street where the pond is located next to the home. I know he sold that place, and I don't know where he is living at present. Javis Noel did the steel structure of that house on Broadway. On yet another note, Reed's uncle "Black Noel," deceased, originally from Lewisburg, but lived in Bridge City until his untimely death by drowning served in my parents wedding years ago. Reed was the one who told me that his uncle Black had drowned in a boating mishap. I miss Black and his wife Jerry. Small World! Lewisburg and other great cities. LOL!

If you step inside it you will be cursed. Thats why no realtor will go inside. If you have to go take a priest with you. When my wife and I went in I carried a cross in my hand and it burnt an effigy in my palm. Its still there a year later.

I don't believe that I lived around here all my life and I don't recall anything bazaar happening in that house. Reed and his family were very strong catholics I know when they were there they did not have demons. This is a bad rumor.

I would think that it is also. Reed and Mrs Yvonne were wonderful ppl...The lady who lived there after Jeanette and her husband was elderly and poor soul she was a good person also.

Ohh you know I will..poor Missy thou shes always so busy so if its too much for her I understand Mike. Ill call anyways and check with her...thank you
