Everyone has a family!! That does not make what happened acceptable my kids go in that store all the time I would hate for a child or any other child to see that, very sad how people will kill themselves, and yes I say kill themselves because nobody made him do anything, meaning take the pills or drink the alcohol. Also would like to add if he has children I am sorry for them!!

As a member of Steves family I Think every child should see something like that. Parents influence can't always lead their children down the right path. No matter how Steven died it is a terrible lose of life. If children see what can happen if they abuse any substance perhaps they'll never try them. Unfortunatly in today's society there isn't a family in this country that hasn't been effected by drugs and alcohol. Let the children see the down side instead of just telling them over and over "no"!!

How do any of you know what is what happened?? Was you in there with him when he passed? This man has family and here you all are on here trashing him. There is 2 little girls now that no longer have a daddy. And this man also left a wife behind. Wether it was drugs or his heart dont you think that you all could be considerate enough to keep your comments to yourself and let the family deal with this pain without your 2 cents in the matter.

The man is dead, DEAD! And y'all have so much compassion that your on her talking bout his life's flaws! I bet if your name was on here all your skeletons would come out! He was a phenomenal father, and one of the best friends you could ask for! I pray for every single one of you that has something negative to say that nothing happens to your family on Christmas eve, and you have to tell your children that they will never see there dad or mom again!! Maybe u ought to think bout that!!

He was a good man. Everybody makes mistakes. For you people to get on here and trash talk someone that can not defend themselves is horrible. He had a wife he had kids. Really people get a life. You only trash talk know because you were too chicken shit to say it to his face. Get a life and let his family and friends morn in peace. PLEASE!

First of all...thank you for the people that have stood up for my husband, my best friend, my children's daddy, my world!!
For the other(s)...I want you to know that i knew steve better than anyone on this planet, i know how much he loved me, my kids, his friends and his family. Nobody will ever change my opinion of that or convince me otherwise.
Since people think they know him well, did you know that he was enrolled in school and was supposed to be starting January 17, did you know that we were going to renew our vows, did you know that he went to church every sunday, did you know
that he had a 3 year old little girl that would light up when her daddy walked in the room, did you know that she would run to him and squeeze him saying you my daddy and rub his face, did you know that ,he told me everyday how he wanted to be a man that was worthy of my love and to be the daddy that my girls deserved...did you know that my heart is breaking because he had a sickness that he couldnt completely control but he fought it everyday, did you know that he stepped up to be my oldest daughters daddy, he did what a lot of men wouldnt do, he helped me raise a daughter when he didnt have to and he wasnt asked. did you know that he would have done anything for me and my girls, did you know that he went to the alter at church and begged the lord to forgive him??? Obviously you didnt know this, you didnt know he was different, but sometimes you slip and fall, sometimes a sickness takes over and the only thing you can do is pick yourself up and try again the next day. he doesnt have a chance to try but he does have the greatest gift and that he is in heaven and he is free! Im sure i know who you are and i dont care who you are but im sure that i have never done anything to you and my kids havent either, so if you didnt have, respect for steve, please show some for me, my kids, his brothers, sister and family and friends that are just sick from grief and most of all, show respect for yourself, no good hearted person will sit and talk about something like this when all that matters is that i will never see, touch, hold, talk or feel the safeness that he brought to me and his babies. please have a heart and drop this, i cant read this, i cant think about this, im just thinking about how this has been the worst time of my life and the only thing that is keeping me standing is my memories of this wonderful man that you are bashing. he made mistakes, he was human, but he was my life, and words will never express how i feel or how much i hurt and it will take a long time to even feel halfway normal again. my heart is broke and sometimes its hard for me to breath...so next time you want to down talk my deceased husband, picture me having to hold his 3 year old daughter that is screaming for her daddy, think about what we feel and do me a favor...keep your horrible opinion to yourself!

Kenya don't pay attention to these negative people! Some people just have to be in someone else's business whether its true or not because they have no life of there own and they feel the need to bash others to make themselves feel better! I am so sorry for your loss! And sorry that you are having to deal with the ignorance of people on this site during such a tragic time in your life! My thoughts and prayers are with you, his babies (both of them because anyone can be a donor but it takes a real man to be a daddy), and all his family! My you all find peace and comfort in your time of need!
