I am 50 years old. My father was born and raised in Whitesville. As we visited over the years, driving from Oklahoma, we always at some point went to Wellsville, and I always (from age 6 or so) adored the pink house. In July 2008, I traveled back to Wellsville, bring my father to attend my grandmother's funeral. I went out of my way to drive by the pink house one last time...I figure I will probably never get back to see her. I hope she is taken care of......

i lived in wellsville ny from my seventh grade and graduated from wellville central high school in 1971 some of my fondest memories are of wondering what the pink house looked like on the inside....it was captivating as a young girl and now interesting a an adult, and by the way really thrilled it is still there

I have many pictures of the famous Pink House that I took myself. I am the grandaughter of Albert and Frieda Schrader for whom Schrader road is named. I spent many summers there as a child and plan to come back soon to visit their graves. My father was Victor Schrader who also grew up there. It is a beautiful town and we all loved it so much.

I graduated from Wellsville High in 1956. During my years with the drama club the lady that lived in the Pink House let us use many of the antique dresses, pruses and shoes, ( those of us that could fit into them for the shoes were tiny), for our plays. I have such fond memories of Wellsville and the Pink House. Thank you for displaying this page.

As i was growing up in shilehouse i have seen the pink house and that i would like to go in there to see if it is rilly hauted . but i do not think no one would let me in to see if is is or not. but i would love to live in there it is such and nice house . my dad and grandfather told me about the house . but i'm inmased the house is still there

I used to live across the street from the Pink House. When I opened my drapes every morning, I just loved looking at the Pink House. What a beautiful site!! I grew up in Wellsville, have sinced moved away. When I come back to visit my father, driving by the Pink House is definitely on my list of things to do. Thank you for posting this picture.

Just for the record, the style of the Pink House is Italian, not French. It is a beautiful home and we're lucky to have had it restored and kept in such good condition by its owners, who are descendants of the original family.

I was born in Wellsville & stayed with my grandmother Lura Schreiner in the summer after we moved away.We come to Wellsville once a year.
I love the pink house & am glad to see it is still the same.
