Is is just me or does it seem like leaving you house in Lebanon County could result in being charged with something? Is it about the OT the police officer receives for spending day(s)in court? ChaCHING. Is this how we want our county policed? DA Arnold is this how you want to earn a name for yourself? Prosecuting noise violations, disorderly conduct, and ordinance violations? Is your goal that every man, woman and child in the county have a criminal record? What ever happened to talking to people, and sending them on their way? Instead, we the taxpayer are paying for this police state. Shame on the LDNews for devoting so much press space to the prosecution of people and never questioning why.

The proper protocol for dealing with this epidemic of college students and underage drinking involves eliminating colleges. That way we won't have to deal with college kids who cause trouble. Kids will always be kids, god bless your ignorance.

And HOW BIG of a SIGN do YOU need..... that says
Don't smoke POT.
Don't drink and drive.
Don't STEAL...
and Don't RAPE ??

The law is the law... not for 2nd chances and warnings.
It's to be followed the 1st time.. EVERY TIME.

Do you need BIGGER SIGNS to tell you these (common sense) things ?????

NOT talking about RAPE, DUI, or STEALING. Talking about music too loud, or being in a park after dark. How big a sign do you need that says prosecuting rather than communicating is a waste of taxpayer money. Let us know when you discover that your music is too loud by the criminal charges filed against you Mr. The Law is the Law. Give me a break.

R.I.P. Darren. Yet another dumb women runs over a motorcyclist. Thats what the headlines should say. The last 4 motorcycle accidents in the paper where womens fault. I would bet that 90% of Motorcyclists that are in accidents and killed or seriously injured each year are a womens fault mostly old. Wake up you dumb broads there is motorcycles out there so pay attention and quit running them over and ruining there lifes while you get off with a slap on a wrist. They have to live with the death of a love one or there crippling injuries meanwhile you walk away unscaved most of the time. I know I'm still suffering from my head on collision fom a dumb broad who did'nt see me in the 80,s.

I have to agree with Jen and Suzie Qz. Taking our colleges away is not going to solve the problems. Most of those kids are simply trying to better themselves. Not all of them are trouble. Think about this.........your driving down the road and in front of you, there is a punk blaring loud music from his vehicle. Behind him is an emergency vehicle, lights and sirens blaring (Possibly going to help YOUR loved one). Unfortunately, he/she is driving erratically and does not see nor hear the emergency vehicle behind him. The emergency vehicle tries to pass this vehicle and just at the same time, the punk swerves over into the emergency vehicles path causing an accident. Now what????????? Our kids are hurt, the person waiting for that emergency vehicle to arrive is still waiting and now, we have to call in more emergency vehicles to take care of this accident scene. WHY???? Because that young punk was blaring his damn radio so loud that he did not hear what was going on around him. Wake up people....kids will be kids. We were all young once. We've all disobeyed the law at one point or another it's just sad that the community is getting worse than it used to be. Kids need something to do and unfortunately, sometimes they are reckless. Punish those who are bad. Not the ones who are good, honest and respectable and are out honestly out better their lives. Have a wonderful evening.

True the Annvile Fire was started by careless smoking, but who says it was started by the kids.As a retired firefighter I take exception to monday quarterbacking by individuals who dont know the first thing about the job or what it entails,I only have one other comment.Prove It.
