Its this simple, Parents now a days stop being punks, and listening to that doctor phil crap and Whoop and discipline your kids. Because little 10yr old timmy cursing you out is not something to sit down and have a conversation about, its a time to take off your belt. Also your child closing his room door and telling you to mind your business its his room should never happen as long as its your house and you pay the bills. Parents start acting like Parents again and not therapist and friends.

I'm so sick of these whiney little pu$$ies these days. Highschool sucks for everyone and everyone has been picked on at some point in their life. That's life, man-up and deal with it like everyone else before you and the millions that will follow. The fact that they want to resort to guns and violence shows how chicken shit they really are. I also blame the parents.

Kids today don't think of consequences. To them, there aren't any because they aren't taught about them. Parents today put them on time out when they're little...wtf is that. I wish I only went on time out when I was a kid. There was no such thing. I had to go bed early, not for a night but for a week...it s u c ked, but I learned my lesson. It all starts when they're young. You don't have control then, you won't have it when they're older.

With the dawn of Obama being president, this kid was just trying to preserve his 2nd amendment rights! LOL, one more redneck that deserves to be in jail.

i agree whole heartedly. my dad had a belt and a paddle specially made for us and when we were bad or disrespectful...we GOT it and got it good!

there is a difference between discipline and child abuse, you have to know when to draw the line. my father disciplined us and shaped us into the individuals that we are now.

i am not a parent, but i guarantee you that if i were, i would bring my children up in the same manner as my father did with me and my two siblings.

time outs do not work. taking privledges away from them does in sense, but the old fashioned "whoopin" is the tried and true method!

Put a uniform on him; give him all the weapons he can carry, and send him to Afghanistan.

You can't just "Whoop" your kid without having a strong relationship as a foundation. Whoopings are part of it I completely agree but without the respect of a strong relationship, the kid will probably just resent, not understand, the whooping. That goes all the way back to infancy. Parents need to be parents...complete parents. Lots of love and understanding with a healthy fear of consequences, like, "oh man, my dad's gonna kill me!"

I totally agree with what has been said on this forum. Talking back to my parents, rolling my eyes at them or any form of disrespect would have gotten me a good one!!! Now, we see kids hitting their parents, talking back to to them and kids that outright think they deserve IPods and cell phones and parents so willing to cave in and supply them with it. Why? "Because I work hard for them and I want them to have nice things." Both my parents worked and I didn't expect anything because my mom wasn't home when I got home. But you know what was expected of us, the house clean, dinner cooked, and homework done. The government has convinced us that disciplining your child will have him/her in rehab by the time he's 20, but BS. NOT disciplining your child may land him/her in rehab, jail or unable to cope w/the the real world where little Susie is NOT the apple of everyone's eye!!

What is wrong with these kids? Bullying is no excuse to kill people. This kid is a loser and should just sit in jail. He's never going to change. Get the chip off your shoulder and deal with it. Everyone hated high school and if they say they didn't they are lying.

Funny you should say that...what was expected of us. Same went in my house growing up. You did it and no whining or questions asked. We all had a job to do, and we did it well, then it was play time.

The best remedy parents can have regards kids like this, is to have no kids at all. The computer, movies, so-called music, TV, cell phones have polluted the minds of those young creative minds. Probably most of them don't even have a soul that is reachable. They have little heart, compassion or respect for anything. Everything is just one big joke. It's them and their MTV. Nothing else matters. When alot of them reach adult age, they will be more scarier than Hitler.

Wow. Reading all of these comments makes me extremely sad and ashamed of what people have become these days. Attacking him and calling the student names? That is very mature on your parts. Those who say bullying in high school isn't as big of a deal as people are making it out to be... well maybe you need to take another look into schools. Times have definitely changed, though that is not an excuse to use weapons to "solve" problems. With that being said, I really wish some people would use their brains before posting comments here.

well first off lets atrt with the stupid cop postings about the liptok boys; lets not!
its not worth wasting breath or print over!
everyone knows its the troll cop from pottsville;

this entire thing is the fault of the government;
taking away the rights of the people (little by little)and not caring.
it got worse when the government started the children and youth agencies and they didnt follow their rules or plans but saw greed in forcing their way into peoples lives.

Do all the senators, congress people and elected officials follow this methodology? NO!
so why are we the people forced to follow it?

I believe that of a man who spoke the truth and printed it on a daily basis; he stands alone, but isnt afraid of these things, and will tell every exactly how it works, and whats wrong with it, and how to fix it.
Im talking about the colonel;

This form of parental control has never been effective and has proven to make more troubled kids.

They need to end this children and youth and gov. interference and go back to what worked.
a parent who had control;
a parent who had respect;

kids who said yes sir or no sir
yes maam no maam

helped older people with out being told;
took out the trash without being screamed at;
made their bed;

respected their peers and their teachers and the police and their elders;

THAT WORKED for over 100 years and many young people grew up to make something of themselves and make the country proud.

GET RID OF THIS GOV. CONTROL

God, why does someone have to post this about every single thing that goes on in this world. Parents do not watch over their children 24/7 once they are past toddler age, and if you do there is something seriously wrong with you to start with. Shut up already about where were the parents.
