I know they are the only game in town but I know 3 other people beside me who have had bad experiences with them. I know they own 1/2 the town and have connections so I'll probably get blasted by friends of theirs but I think they stink. They just filled my tank for the last time. I won't use them again.

Very bad service, arrogant attitude and rip off mentality. What else can you say?

god bless you for speaking out. I know many people feel the same as us but are afraid to talk because they don't know who else to get oil from.

Just read on the ticonderoga forum that mountain Petrolium owner was actually arrested to tax fraud or cheating the government. It was in the forum about heating oil.

yes I wish I could switch to electric after what mountain Petrolium pulled on me after they finished "cleaning my tank" I had to get a complete new one for 6000 dollars when it was working perfect before. Next time I would switch to electric and that's a great idea. They have been ripping me off for many years. The strangest things always happened when I used them. I mean strange as in always giving them more and more money and it being a bad deal for me. For now I'll use Buckman

I had it out with them a few years ago! Same thing...got fuel, furnace quit, had to have it serviced...by a different company and was told it was dirty fuel that plugged the system. Of course they said they talked to the other company and they said it wasn't. Went back and fourth for a while and told them I wasn't paying for their crap fuel, actually they should be paying me, never heard anymore from them.

Countryside fuel is a great company to deal with. I switched to them years ago after being ripped off continously by Mntn Petro. They were putting in higher priced kero instead of reg fuel. Then they would put in $300 worth of fuel on a heap grant when they were given $350.00.

THIS COMPANY IS THE BIGGEST JOKE. MAYBE THEY SHOULD DO A LITTLE FAMILY PRAYER TO TRY TO GIVE THEM SOME KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HOW TO RUN A COMPANY BECAUSE AS OF NOW, THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. THEY ARE THE BIGGEST RIP OFF THAT I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. I CAN THINK OF AT LEAST TEN OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN SENT BILLS THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY PAID, SEVERAL DIFFERENT TIMES BECAUSE THEY TRY TO MAKE YOU PAY SEVERAL TIMES. I HOPE ALL THE ELDERLY CUSTOMERS THEY HAVE ARE PAYING CLOSE ATTENTION TO THEIR BILLS BECAUSE THIS SCHEMING, RIP OFF OF A COMPANY WOULD STEAL FROM ANYONE WITHOUT EVENING BLINKING AN EYE. THEY ARE A DISGRACE.

We have had no problems. They put in a new furnace 3 years ago and it works great. Their propane is as cheap as anybody and always delivers on time or when asked. We had problems with all the others that you people mentioned, costs were high and didn't do what was asked of them. Sorry to burst your bubble but they have been just fine. Even fixed a furnace on a Saturday when it was -20, yes I was charged extra, but that is to be expected outside of normal business hours. Maybe some of you just want to complain. I live in Schroon Lake and don't hear all the things your saying.

I live in Schroon Lake too. I have never heard of any of this. The owners are nice and always talk and ask how the family is. They will deliver oil/gas on the weekends if you run out. Y'all just want to complain about something.
