isn't this why they been moving the good managers out-- to more stable areas..... i think times are changing.. sooner than most will like unfortunately

I'm not sure where you heard this about the "good" managers but as long as I have worked there I have yet to see a good manager. Anyway this is a done deal. The mill will be closed and the equipment will be shipped to other facilities. The reason why it will tak until the first quarter is so another mill of their choice can start producing the technical grade papers that has kept the Ti mill open for the past few years. Once this is done the Ti mill will be as well. Start planning now so it's not a big shock to you when the annoucment comes down.

funny i just heard the mill manager told the machine room heads that the company expects them to run full out next year. when they can make up tons . make them they need the tons.
and then another rumor of upgrades on the boiler . so whos rumors are true. time will tell. also heard from a reliable source that president obama was coming to ti to hold a town forum ..

The Mill has more orders now then it ever has had, i know i have worked there for the better part of 20 years and have a lot of inside info. We are going know where, things are turning around and the Mill has become one of the best in the company. People love to start rumors and gossip that's just the way it is.
