Ah, sasser, being a full time resident here I have to ad some wonderful eateries.
Pitkins is a wonderful family restaurant (one of my favorites).
DeCeasers has good Italian and fried food.
Alpine Pizza has the best pizza in town, along with a mean Philly Cheese Steak sub.
Flanagans has the best burger I have found in town.
Higher Ground Coffee shop has the best coffee and great sandwiches.
Marjorie’s Morning Start has great homemade soup, along with great sandwiches.
The Schroon Lake Tavern has the higher end chow, great prime rib.
Terrio's Carriage House, had twin lobsters on Tuesday's. Couldn't beat that. We lost Mike Terrio to a battle with cancer this fall. We are hoping Lynn will be reopening this spring.
Bottom line there are a lot of fine eateries in Schroon Lake. Sorry if I missed any.

And don't forget Drake's Restaurant, hosts Paul & Adrienne, very nice young couple; they serve a wonderful eclectic lunch and dinner menu and a fabulous Sunday brunch buffet throughout spring, summer and fall.
