Attorney: Army Has No Legal Duty To Report Child Abuse
#1 Apr 13, 2010
I'm so angry I can barely speak. EVERYONE must speak up when there's a child involved. Thank God the judge saw past that coldness. I realize this is about time and money, not about the child, and I realize the guilty parties are responsible. What I hope is that there's no money involved, just a clear change of law stating: if you witness child abuse, report it. If you know of child abuse, report it. If you suspect child abuse, report it. God knows if someone had reported and told us about the rapist/child molester I was marrying EVER, I'd have never married him and we would not be damaged goods in court for TEN YEARS because the state of Nevada has basically abandoned us. Makes me SICK.
