The Daily News is still trying to track down Sgt. Willett's family. None of the Willetts in the phone book are related to him. Anyone who knows him or is family is asked to contact our news room.

may he rest in peace. yet another one of our boys die to this war. this war that we forgot what we are fighting for, what we are doing there. we went in and over through the standing government and it started a civil war. we cant leave now because it will leave the country a mess. they say they are fighting for our freedom but this country never threatened our freedom. they had nothing to do with what happened. just because they are on that side of the world. we go in and treat them this way. ou rpresident is gonna go down as the worst in history. you can see why.

I, for one, have not forgotten why we are fighting in Iraq. It is unfortunate that you cannot understand, but this is not the place for your.......ramblings.
My prayers go out to the family and loved ones of Sgt. Willett.

amen...... lest we should forget 9/11 . we have been lucky to say the least that no major foreign war has come to our shores YET! people become complacent and forget. God Bless those who volunteer and fight for not just our freedom but for the unjust atrocities inflicted upon others. and to all the lesser forgotten volunteers who go to Iraq and Kuwait and Afghanistan to do the jobs that our servicemen dont.. They are in just as much danger . A very good film Red Dawn gives the "what if" scenario. What If can happen any time ,any day, any place

I was Gary's company commander during his first OIF deployment. I am proud to have known this hero. I will miss him. God bless him and his family.

God bless those that die so that we can continue being who we are. I know it's too late but Thank You Sgt. Willett, from the bottom of my heart, my families heart as well. "Rest valiant soldier, you have been victorious."
