There has been a lot of talk about 20-minute immediate eviction. In fact, you may have overheard it at your local cafeteria or people talking how their grandparents or co-workers were evicted almost instantly.

Is there a truth behind this or just another “urban legend” to scare people off. We’ll find out in a bit.

See the story on the link above for more of the story.

It's running rampant in Hawaii.

The economy isn't making it any better. Those poor people.

No truth to it. Just the inanane blabberings from deadbeats that didn't think they should have to pay the rent. Tell me, one of you looser tenants that face eviction, why SHOULDN'T you pay the rent, and pay it on time?

I was about to say, show some evidence of it. Hawaii has strict landlord/tenant guidelines that ensure things like that don't happen. The stories are just that. STORIES. Made up by deadbeats, twisted around to favor their deadbeat selves and perpetuated by the chronics that post on Topix.

Reports from Vanguard? Evictions from rented properties and foreclosed homes?

Homeowners who didn’t tell them that the unit has already been foreclosed? or the bank owner has failed to inform them and that the sheriff in-charge in posting the notice didn’t do his job of announcing the forthcoming eviction?

Anyone caught in this dilemma will practically have 20 minutes to move out all their belongings before all the locks are changed. After which, the sheriff would move to the next eviction site and so forth. People, on the average, are only given 30 minutes to get their stuff out, with no prior notice!

Balls is the topix troll. You are talking to a welfare fraud recipient and known nut job when you talk to him.

Can't happen. How can a homeowner not know he didn't pay his own mortgage unless he's a retarded POS?

No, the homeowner knew that he didn't pay his mortgage, but the homeowner just didn't tell his tenants. Sounds like his renters got the shaft but the bank gave them all the boot, but of course the word never got out to the renters.

Balls may be a deadbeat and a chronic, but he's the only (fake)hero to read about in Hawaii these days, now that every ones favorite football star has been exposed as having a fake girlfriend.

Ball's fake girlfriend is Guru, they are very happy together.

OK, but was the law broken and the cops throwing people out and all the other bullshit?? NO. That happened to my son too, in Arizona. He rented out a home he owns through a management company, and they didn't pay my son's mortgage as they agreed to do. My son ended up losing the home through foreclosure without being notified, and the tenants were told they had to leave. But it took MONTHS, not no 20 minutes. My son lost the house, not the tenants. The tenants simply moved on their merry way, and the case between my son and the management company is still in court. Too bad, because my son was going to give the tenants a good deal on purchasing the home, and they wanted it. Shyt happens BUT, it still has nothing to do with someone being evicted in twenty minutes without warning. You are implying there was some sort of conspiracy between the police, the management company, the landlord, the banks, and Gawd knows who else so you are lying to people like the tenants were ambushed. If anything the management company should lose their license to operate, but I don't think they broke any laws. Change the law if you don't like it and I'm on your side.
