The court Adjudicator in Franklin Park really needs to go. He is clueless. We have a neighbor who left his dog (husky) tied up in his backyard and then would leave for 2-3 days at a time without anyone caring for this dog. A group of the neighbor pressed charges and when we came before this so called adjudicator, he dismissed the animal cruelty charges. His grounds was that this dog was a husky.

This adjudicator is out of touch forsure. Dont vote for pedersen until he promises to get a new adjudicator.

How awful!! No doubt the adjudicator is a fool.Picks on old ladies feeding squirrels and gives the thumbs up for leaving a dog out for days without being cared for?? Thats disgusting, but not a surprise. This guy must be another "friend"mooching a giant paycheck.

The dog is dead because while its owner was on his 2-3 day long business trips, it had become loose and ran off. Huskies like to run...that is why they are iditarod dogs. They need exercise. The dog got hit by a car and died.

The owner then got another husky. Again the same treament and neglect. This time the neighbors wanted to do something to prevent the same fate for this new dog. The neighbors had the police and a humane investigator involved. The same treatment started. Charges were pressed.

But this adjudicator upon hearing the details...dismissed the charge saying since the breed of the dog was a husky ...they could be left outdoors for long periods of time. Yea...right, chained to a fence in a small area filled with metal junk, no food or water, 2-3 days straight without any monitoing. Yea right.

If you check the animal cruelty ordinances in Franlin park against most of the other surburbs in the outlying area, you will see how Franklin Park is behind the times as far s animal neglect and cruelty. Most other towns slap hefty fines on animal abuse and neglect crimes. No, Franklin Park just looks the other way when an animal is neglcted or barbaricly treated.

You should check out towns like Norridge, Cicero, Elmhurst, Naperville, etc. and see their animal ordinances and then check out Franklin park. They aint got any. They don care.

Even Cicero has better ordinances against Animal abuse and animal cruelty.

What does that say about Franklin Park? Cicero is more enlightened and on the ball on this than Franklin Park. That is sad.

it is true... checked it out.. Most towns do have extensive ordinances about how to treat animals...Checked out Cicero also. They have a lot of ordinances about how to treat animals as far as treatment and care. Franklin park is the only village around in this general area that does not have good ordinances about animal abuse. Other towns charge animal cruelty extensively.. ie felony charge with really stiff penalties up to $25,000. Not Franklin park.. you can set a cat on fire and there would be no punishment. Really ignorant village. And that adjudicator is a moron. He really needs to go. But the thing is...he cant do anything because the village has no ordinances on the books to punish these acts. Also the village is losing a ton of money that could be made in fines. oh well. thats our village for you. i guess their time and money could be well spent on "LETS MOVE". Like people cant do thison their own.

What is really sad.. is there are many animal lovers in Franklin Park and the mayor and his trustes are losing suppot of these animal lovers because of their failure to be up to date on current animal laws.

Wow you are a complete MORON! This guy HAS a business in Franklin Park on 25th street, so he DOES pay taxes in Franklin Park!!! Unlike Kurt "My mom still washes my underwear" Kugelberg and Ken "I borrow my moms car" Zurek. He also does not get a senior freeze like Ken and Kurt's mommies :( And you are a piece of crap for putting his home address on here. Just like the rest of Juan "mumbles/stutter/lisp " Acevado's crew you guys are always keeping it classy!!!
Yeah,Maybe James just FOI requested it.Or found it in the phone book like anyone else could do.Pipe down # 1 turd.
