Governor's budget puts WQED in jeopardy

WQED serves Washington County like no other media in Pittsburgh . WQED offers thoughtful and in-depth local stories about our area.

not only does washingtn county benefit from WQED but the whole country does. The wonderful programming they have always provided shouldnt be silenced because of goofball fast eddie. When is his term over anyway? He needs to be thrown out before PA is totally bankrupt!

Besides the Public TV stations, the museums, state parks and the local libraries are all on the chopping block in fast Eddie's budget!!! PLease everyone let your state reps. know that this is wrong and we need these services to continue.

They don't care. They're too busy counting their campaign contributions from companies like ComCast.

Plenty of money for sports arenas, transportations systems upgrades that go nowhere, casinos, new highways that are too little too late, new bridges that only allow the welfare and drug dealers easy access, etc. etc.
Sure, let the state reps know that, they will only tax us more and promise the same things we fell for the last time. VOTE THEM OUT!

It was sad on Tuesday when I voted and there was only one choice for many of the spots needed. The honest people who would like to make a difference and who can't be bought don't have a snowballs chance in heck in winning or even being backed by the powers that be. So they give up. We get stuck with the same old professional politicians year after year. Thats why the state and country is in the mess we are in. Everyone wants a handout or kickback and to heck with the American voter and doing things right!
