They should ban drinking while they are at it. I have had more undesirable experiences with obnoxious drunks at the beach over second hand smoke outside...give me a freaking break !

Excellent idea!
I can't believe it hasn't been done in every state.

More unnecessary goverment intrusion. Why do we need a law or rule for everything? Our souls are slowing being destroyed by bureaucratic tyranny.

People are pigs and shouldn't litter. Just pick up after yourself.

smokers act as if it is their god given right to smoke; throw their cigarettes EVERYWHERE. In their neighbor's yards, sides of the exit ramps, school walkways, etc. Filthy slobs!
Shouldn't have to ban; shouldn't be a need to make laws and regulations to control a persons bad manners and disgusting habit.

I only read the headline of this article of banning buts on the beach! But I approve 100% on the idea of banning ciggarett smoking in a place where the temple of the Holy spirit should feel freeest! And smoking tobacco deprives the very spirit of health and to faith in it! Yes! that's right1 it restricts faith as well as hinders the spirit of Love and of bodily appreciation, especially from a spiritual aspect. It reminds me of the gospel story of the woman who "knew in her heart" she would be healed, if she could but touch the hem of His garment. So she snuck up, and touched His robe, was healed and snuck back hoping not to be noticed! Jesus noticed that Virtue had gone out of His body! Nonsmokers notice this when smokers are around spiritually!Because smoking is a form of sourcery! In reality it is!
