the cirrus sr22 is a great plane. I own a 2003 version. They are fairly fast and slippery and thus they really aren't for newbies. As with any plane, it is the responibility of the pilot to determine whether he is qualified to fly the plane. I think the lawsuit is the typical mentality of the legal system today where jurors know nothing about the subject. The cirrus is a great plane if you fly it correctly.
