This is such a sad story. Does anyone know how her children are? They must just be so sad.

this is now five years later and someone I know, but will not disclose who as she is fearful, lives in the attic where Joia was found in a trunk. She was a very tall woman and why she would get into a trunk in an unfinished attic is beyond me. And now her ex-husband owns the house and fixed-up the attic to be a one room apt. Paranormal activity, and in very aggressive, angry experiences have been experience by five people at once in that apt. just two days ago. Actual physical items have been thrown around the room and a puppy was foaming at the mouth, growling and peed itself when it felt the energy of someone who has NOT crossed over. The only reason I can see for this activity, is that the deceased who was found in that very area is very, very distraught. Since the original reports in 2007 it was deemed to be a suicide, contradicting all the comments that folks said about Joaia--I think we need to have someone like Teresa Caputo a medium-psychic work with the police on this. As you said, this case seemed to be closed without much additional investigation.

Medium was at house recently she said Joia was happy and not leaving her house. Medium gave a different story on what happened but she doesn't blame anyone except herself. She was very talkative in explaining her situation. Joia said she she used to hate cats but our cats are starting to grow on her. She also told the medium to tell me something that i would only know, so this is not a fake. Close this door and let her be.
