I'm sure there is more to this than we will know. A women took her own life and that is a very tragic thing. Please don't forget she was somebody's daughter, a wife and possible a mother...Let her rest in peace.
Thank you for your kind words. She was my friend and wife, and mother. She was a wonderful woman who cracked under the pressure. She deserves respect not dishonor.

Her husband wasn't taking care of business at home so she had to go next door to the neighbors house (A WOMAN) to get business taking care of. That's why the husband was at the neighbors house with the gun.
JUST A WILD GUESS SINCE NEWSDAY DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING MORE THAN ME.
Why did they have so many guns anyway?
May she rest in peace....Condolences to the family.

I would say that I am quite informed. Just look at the prices of homes in both towns. Brentwood is horrible.

Karen, well that depends on what you consider horrible. North Brentwood is a nice area with very low crime and the diversity is great. I would rather live here in a nice house in a decent neighborhood than spend $800,000 on the same exact house in Sayville to be surrounded by ignorant snobs.

Actually this will lead you to the next question - Why 4 illegal handguns? Now, I'm not for Gun Control in most senses... But I'm all for tracking down and punishing illegal gun activities.

This screams out that we need to open the doors to NY pistol permits, and maybe even a national licensing process so more can be done to stop illegal guns - while cutting the red tape for others.

I have to say that after reading all of your statements it is you that is gravely ignorant. Since when did the price of a home make you a bad person. I know plenty of people with money and education that are MORONS!! Living in Sayville doesn't make you special. It is also far from a crime free town. But that is besides the point. This woman and her husband were involved with drugs. As nice as they may have been to you, they were not stand up citizens. They also had illegal weapons in their home. Open your eyes and stop being so naive. It makes you look foolish.

The point here is not where these people lived. A woman killed herself. Her husband assaulted a neighbor with an illegal weapon. Obviously these people aren't playing with a full deck. What about the emotional trauma inflicted upon the poor neighbors. I guess you all think it is acceptable for gun-toting lunatics to shove pistols in other people's faces. If that were my neighbor I would have them arrested too.

Did this happen at 333 Candee Ave, Sayville NY 11782?
I live here.

I didn't hear or see a thing. But I go to work
early and get back late.

I need to know.

I am very sorry about it regardless of location.
No one should ever feel such despair or pain or
no-way-out that they need to end their own lives.

I want to know.

I feel like I missed someone who
might have needed me. Who lives here,
right next to me.

So sad. So sad.
