Life in prison? For growing pot? Granted, it's a whole lotta pot, but still ... that's kinda harsh, ain't it?

this is a complete waste of tax payers money. this family wasn't hurting anyone and everyone knows marijuana is virtually harmless especially compared with alcohol and tobacco, which are LEGAL.

Long Island's Answer To Cheech & Chong, a major police bust was certainly called for with these desperate criminal types.

EIGHT years in the making and after 2005 discovery by the Fire Dept... No wonder they were annoyed when AMW and Miss America took down a real dangerous national child predator in a matter of seconds.... At the prevailing wage for all the "enforcement " involved in EIGHT years who was the victim other than the taxpayers? ONCE AGAIN.

I'm still trying to find out about the big drug bust that supposedly happened here in Southampton a couple of weeks ago. My neighbors are all talking about 2 guys selling stuff to HS kids but I can't find a word on the web.

It may have taken eight years but, the SCPD always get their man! Hats off to the fire dept. that assisted with this high caliber bust.

What a waste of time and money for the police to go after weed. That crap is every where. Legalize it and tax it all ready. No one will ever stop the flow of drugs especially weed.

While drugs like valium, ocycoton, and most anti anxiety meds are the true causes of all the od in the states, our cops are busting pot sellers....hahahaha, I bet they go home and smoke themselves and THAT is what's wrong with our cops.
Ya know how many cops I've seen walk outta bars and straight into their cars after drinking??? Too many to name.

For every 1 person that caused a death after smoking pot and I'll put up 10,000 deaths due to alcohol, yet it is legal.

Oh what our society pays for the simple "forbidden" plant. If it were legalized and regulated, the state wouldn't be wasting time and money prosecuting these idiots, because they wouldn't have a market.

The USA has the highest percentage of its population in prison of any industrialized country. Is this really how we should be making a better future?

when are they going to stop wasting money on stopping people from smoking pot. Who the hell cares? Alcohol is a much more dangerous drug.

Don't even get me started... Our Government sucks ! I bet they spent millions and will continue to spend in an attempt to put "these dangerous criminals" away for life! Meanwhile, the dangerous ***hole who breaks into my home and leaves my family feeling victimized gets off with a short jail stay... The F.B.I. and most federal law enforcement agencies are the real criminals! They should try getting a real job like the local police and work for a living. And as far as the three "victims" in this case; They can be my neighbors anytime !

While the Bush crime family loots the nation, the corrupt Feds and the People's #1 enemy the IRS pursue pot growers. What a bunch of crap. Meanwhile the CIA imports TONS & TONS of heroin from their Afghanistan opium operation.

What would be nice is to get rid of drugs and firearms, the only ones that should have firearms are the ones that need them for there jobs, and as far as that disgusting stuff that people smoke the only ones that should have anything to do with it, is the ones that need it for medical reasons ONLY... This world is falling apart in so many ways and its a real shame, and Drugs and Firearms are defintly 2 big reasons why.

Once again, the government proves IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. As soon as they can figure out a way to tax it, they'll legalize it.
