Your a fool if you think that it won't close. This town will lose all that has been gained recently if the hospital closes. There will be no more new business and we will be lucky to keep what we have. I agree it shouldn't have been built but now that we have it letting it close will be even worse.
Your a pessimist be an Optimist they won't close it they will just have to quit spending.

One cent on $200 is $2 not $20 and the $2 you save at Walmart you will more than spend on gas getting there.
Figure again IDIOT it would raise the total tax rate to 10% on the dollar and that makes $20 on $200.

You're missing the point. First of all, the tax rate would go up to 9.8%, not 10%. And you wouldn't save the ENTIRE amount of tax by going to Elk City to shop, only 1%. So on a $200 purchase, you'd only be saving $2, not $20. And for all of you who think that shopping in Elk City is a good idea, consider that if everyone does that, we won't have a Puckett's, Ace Hardware, Sayre Grain, Dollar General, etc. No business can stay open if it doesn't have any customers. Who will that help?

I'm voting no! The only time I've ever been to the hospital I had a horrible problem with the billing. They sent me to collections BEFORE my insurance had paid and then instead of trying to get the $500 I was initially charged they tried to get over $700??? So if they can't keep their crap straight with that one little thing why would I support them in any way? Clearly they have no clue what they are doing.

They want us to raise our taxes but when spring break comes and you need a Doctor there is not one in town the only one around won't be in her office till Friday! You would think if they wanted us to support them they would support the people and stagger there away time so there Is a Doctor around to help the people who are sick in town. They don't support us why should we support them Vote No!

Please vote yes!!! Our little town can't stand to be without a hospital. Having a hospital in town may save one of our lives, could even be mine or yours. One reason Sayre doesn't have much is the fact that everyone spends their tax dollars in Elk City. I would rather give another cent to the community I live and work in rather than give nine cents to someone else's community!! Please vote YES!!!!!!

Don't know what this has to do with the hospital. The hospital has been open all week.

The Doctors run basically the Hospital but unlike they used to they don't cover each other. When I am sick I don't want to see a PA or a Nurse I want to see a Doctor! They want us to support their workplace but they don't want to be around when you need them. I don't want to pay 20$ on every 200$ I spend. The Nurses are Pathetic they are more interested in visiting than Patients and work when they are sick spreading more sickness. NO I don't believe they will close the hospital I believe the City Fathers will be forced to curb their spending but will keep it open. I Say VOTE NO!

Have you seen some of the cars the employees are driving that work at SMH Coopers, Camaro's, Chargers and all new Maybe should lower some wages and put that into the pot as well and we might not need to be taxed more. After all the care ya get is not worth the pay they are getting! Vote NO!!!
