Well there is a lot of this going on in Sayre Schools and teachers turn the other way. Probably cause they to think their better. You took your job and when you decided to be a teacher you decided to keep children safe between the hours of 8 & 3! Mainly it's girls but I've heard of boys too. And I've heard of teachers bullying kids. When we people of all ages see that this needs to stop. I see it on here too prob were the kids learn it. Don't think topic was created to see who has the most divorces or who is on welfare. Ever think why people got divorced or maybe some having a hard time and need help. When did god make you the earthly judge? Bully's usually talk about others to feel better about themselves. Hey teens or kids you don't have to be friends with everyone but gosh leave the others alone! Maybe they have a bad home live or are shy whatever dang it's none if your business. And to bullied kids hang in there don't let these small minded people get you down rise above bullying you'll be a better person in the long run!!

You to need to proof read. It is very hard to follow what you are trying to say. What is wrong with people. I don't get it you want you kids to do well or do the right thing? If a teen tried to read this they would just give up and say fu?k it. If you want to reach people try to make an effort to make yourself understandable

I've always taught my kids to stand up and if need be kick em where it counts. No kid should have to take crap from a hot head bully. It does work my daughter was being bullied on the bus and the kid was calling names and spitting in her hair And I finally told her what to do and the next day she went to school with roller blades on and she kicked him in the nuts. He never bugged her again.

I don't think there is a big problem or one that is any different at Sayre Schools than any other school. Bullying has been around forever, and the only difference is the fact that the media is drawing so much attention to it now and making it more noticeable to everyone. I for one am sick and tired of people blaming teachers for everything that happens to children. Parents need to step up and take some responsibility too! Talk to your children!!! If indeed they feel they are being bullied, then you -the parent- need to go to the school and talk to the teacher and make them aware of what is going on. I know that there is not a teacher at Sayre Schools that would intentionally let a student be bullied. Teachers can't be everywhere with a student all day long. For instance, the restroom, locker rooms, lunch break, recess, bus, etc. are all places where students can say and do things that a teacher never knows about. Most of the teachers are managing 20-30 students each at any given time. Most parents can't even handle 2-3 kids at a time. Teachers are also supposed to teach the children as well as be a nurse, referee, counselor, judge, jury, and parent. Give these people a break!! Step up to the plate and do your job too!!!!!

I'd be ashamed if I were you teaching your child Violence. You should have taken it in hand and went to the school and confronted the Principal and the other kids parents NOT instigated more Violence! Talk about a bad Parent!

Yea. People who are bullied should never stick up for themselves. They should just continue to take it while the teachers do nothing about it. Then something like Columbine happens.

Thank you!!! Most parents want to blame the teacher for everything, yes we catch some things. But it's impossible for anyone to catch everything. I appreciate that you recognize the fact that we care for about 25 students at a time. It's difficult to love your jib when parents make it so miserable for you. The kids are such a joy to have, it's the parents that complain about everything that really bothers me. They want to complain about everything, but do they step in and offer any sort of help??? Nope, just let's complain and you handle it all. You know I once had a parent come up to me on the first day if school and say, thank goodness school is starting because my kids are getting on my nerves and driving me crazy. I'm ready for them to spend time away from me....well thanks so much for being encouraging and loving in front of your child, don't worry I'll pick up the pieces and build up the confidence again.

If the Parent is persistant then if it doesn't stop and is continually reported the Bully will be removed from school. Grow up there are proper ways of doing things. A someone who was Bullied myself more than once I do wish I would have said something because I did not believe in fighting back which most kids don't my religon doesn't believe in fighting. Ecourage your kids to tell you and then parents go to school and demand something be done.

Thrill is right. My daughter was bullied last year on the bus as were other kids by a kid. I reported it several times to the principal, both in the elementry and middle school. Every time i got the bs run around and it continued. So i finally went to the kid's parents and they said my daughter should toughen up. So i did the next best thing and told my oldest son that since i can not be on the bus everyday to do what he needs to do to stop it and guess what he did and it stopped. But now that this is a new year the bully tried it again at the first of the year and my son just reminded him what happened last year. Now please dont give me the bull s lines about fixing violence with violence. I tried my avenues first and as always the teachers and principals were either to scared or to lazy to say anything to the kid.

Well I for one know my child was being bullied to the point of depression. I told her to tell the teacher every single time it happened so something could be done and if the teacher wouldn't listen go to the principal. Well after only a few short days the teacher and principal called and said we can't have your child doing this all the time it is disrupting to our day ummmm hello then get into the kids doing it!! I called parents and they didnt seem to care if their child was bullying my child or not!

I to went to the school and talked to a few parents......nothing. And whoever said that about columbine your exactly right that's what will end up happening if no one.puts a stop to it!! Yes teachers have a lot on their plate but I agree I can't be there during school hours I trust that you will make sure my child is safe. I don't expect u to do it all! But come on if your in charge of 20 - 30 kids well then they are your responsibility if I was babysitting children and one was hurt don't you think I would be held responsable hell yeah! If my child is in your care that is your job to keep them safe! I don't expect you to raise my child but keep them safe in your care some of u are acting like omg I've got 20 kids what do I do if you can't handle get out of our schools! I talked to the middle school principal and she acted as if my daughter who came home crying everyday was lieing and also being "disruptive". No you can't be every where at once like I can't be at school with my kids but if a child comes to you and says they are scared or hurt you better damn well stop what your doing and tend to that. You wouldn't believe some of the things my daughter went through! I will say this though one of the same girls started on her in elementary and I went and talked to that principal and she was supportive and completly put a stop to it!! Then the same girl started in middle school finally stopped because she probably moved on to someone else!

Gotta agree with Thrill, a lot of bullying goes unnoticed, or ignored. I got bullied when I was young for having tan skin, teachers knew about it and did nothing, it got so bad one day I snapped and socked a boy in the nose as hard as I could, no one ever bugged me again. When they realized I wasn't gonna take there crap they stopped. Gotta stand up for yourself, because most people won't.

Yes i did and her reaction was she cant watch the kids and drive at the same time and recomended my child sit in the front of the bus instead of adressing the problem child.
