Peter Shumlin represents small business, working poor, middle class & all VTers. He wiil hold Entergy accountable.

Brian Dubie represents his rich friends, is a mere Entergy apologist & will continue Douglas assault on working class, small business & most vulnerable VTers as well as raising propert taxes for all & working to rid income sensitivity for VT homeowners.

Dubie is the wise choice, why vote for someone looking for a favor from the VT State Police during a motor vehicle stop? Then the VSP supports Shumlin! Go figure!
Dubie will support traditional uses of the lands around the NEK. Shumlin won't and will support the greenies and IP business opportunities will be lost.

The whole traffic stop was video and audio recorded and made public. It clearly shows that Shumlin never ask for any favors. I know that, you know that and everyone who supports the principles of truth knows that!

It was the union representing Vermont state troopers that endorsed Shumlin and the union’s executive board met with both candidates several times before making its decision. Dubie had his chance and blew it!

So, what was the final disposition of the traffic ticket? Shumlin offered a check, but did he actually submit it to the court?

Shumlin had paid the ticket before it was 'fixed'. Shumlin did not ask for this courtesy.

After eight years of Jim Douglas as Governor and Brian Dubie as Lieutenant Governor, it;'s clearly time for a change from Republican leadership. I cannot and will not support Dubie because of his conservative social views. He opposes a woman's constitutionally protected right to freedom of reporductive choice and he oppeses gay and lesbian couples' constitutionally protected right to marry.

I lost my respect for Governor Douglas when he vetoed the marriage equality bill. Thankfully, the legislature overrode Douglas' veto. It was the backlash against Douglas' veto that prompted him to not see a fifth two-year term, as many Vermonters -- myself included -- vowed never to vote for Douglas again. A vote for Brian Dubie would be a vote to continue the policies of Jim Douglas, and after eight years, enough is enough.

I'll take Dubie over Shumlin any day. Shumlin will really drive Vermont in the hole. He just wants the support of the union's memberships.

I can't in good conscience vote for the authoritarian unpersonable "Doobs" and Shumlin appears just well...slimy.Neither have new ideas and Dennis does.Call it a throw away vote if you like but I am tired of voting for the lesser of two evils from the major parties.

I'm voting for Dennis because he is a "breath of fresh air". He realizes that it is time to jump ship so that we in Vermont can survive. The two main party men will only continue to sink us!

While I'm sure about seccesion, I do agree with a lot of what Dennis is presenting to the race. It's unfortunate that independents are ignored so much when it comes to the debates and interviews.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Capricorn

You're feeling slightly unconventional and you're looking for activities that will reflect your mood. You certainly won't be very keen on doing things that are drearily predictable or boring, although you'll grit your teeth and get on with them if you have no choice. But ideally you should do things on the spur of the moment, preferably in the company of people who make you feel alive and alert.
