This is insane. The last thing you want is people in life-threatening emergencies considering whether they can afford the rescue vehicles.

Just another nail in the coffin of Rockingham residents. Thank God I don't live Rockingham. This stinks of another Massucco misjudgement.

If this is the case, I think BFFD should charge for response, fault or no fault, even if they are a Rockingham taxpayer as long as they are not a BF taxpayer. If you are only giving a break to people whose taxes help pay for the responding department, then non-villagers don't qualify if its the BFFD that responds.
And if you are considering separate tax districts when/if we consolidate, then that doesn't change.
The whole idea of charging for response stinks. If someone driving in from Westminster, or Chester, or Grafton happens to hit a deer, totals their car. The last thing they need is a bill from a service that they didn't call.

so those well to do may get on board but a credit check tells the driver pull over and dump the stiff[not yet] but if your a loser they won't let you in but if your on state or welfare please step sir can we get you a pillow
