Erin,

I never said that all Class B dealers donate dogs to laboratories. The world "all" inserted into my actual post changes the whole meaning of it.

The truth is that the owners of RJ's is on this list and they made it there by providing some type of animal to a laboratory. Whether it a rodent or large. It doesn't matter. I would like to sign her up for laboratory testing!

It is funny how you talk about unreliable sources, but yet you post a link from NCBI, but provide not factual information on why this link is more reliable than the link I provided from the USDA. I fully expect people to do their research as I did mine.

You failed to prove here that the owners of RJ's do not fall into your .03% of class B dealers or prove they did not fall into the 0.9% that donated dog or cats. Also I will focus on RJ's first as they are in my home town. The other random Shelters and pounds that donate are not my local facilities.

After doing a lot of research I was able to track several breeders. I placed a call to some of her breeders and discovered exactly what I already knew.

Now, have you ever personally talked to any of her breeders? Have you ever gone on a "Surprise" visit? Have you been with her 100% of the time to guarantee she has a no-kill policy? I also notice you stated this policy is only on "dogs"!!!

Tell me exactly how you know the breeders are legit? Again tell me about your visits there, your conversations with the breeders? Their references for other who have purchased from them.

Lastly, I am glad your pets are healthy, smart and happy. I feel horrible their parents have probably lived a horrendous, torturous, filthy and very depressing life for you to have them.

But we can be smart about where we get them so we aren't supporting people who are doing bad things to animals.

And my pets aren't just pets, they are family.

We bought our chiweenie last monday, got told he was healthy and very playful. Of course I trusted them, this was our first purchase from r&j and i believed them. Within the first 24 hrs he was in the hospital because he wasn't eating, and he had diahrrea that was like water with blood in it. I brought him to the vet and they said it was parvo,he couldnt keep food in him,he turned hypoglycemic fast, tok him back to the vet and he still wasn't healthy. Was very mad at the pet store for promising he was healthy when he wasnt. they paid for his vet bills to save their butt,he turned around for one day, this morning he had a seizure, stopping breathing and was actually dead. my husband gave him mouth to mouth and cpr as we rushed to the animal hospital. he was there all day today,dr said he wouldnt make it through the night. all he does is cry and moan. I HATE r&j pets. they will not refund our money either. lets make them go out of business.

If you care about buying a dog you see in there..only buy the dog on your terms,Tell them you want to get the dog checked out by a local vet of your choice, tell them if the dog does not check out healthy you want a refund..Get all of your terms in writing, because if they have to keep the dogs to long..they are no longer cute little puppies,The owner of that place is very rude and i dont think nobody should buy nothing from them!Minot would be a great town to open a real pet shop with a real honest caring owner,They dont even act like they care about the humans that goes in there to shop? So why would anyone think they would care about the pets? This is only my opinion from the way i was treated the last time i was in there..i would never go back even to buy dog food..I want to be treated with respect when i spend my money and get a good healthy pet! good luck..i know its hard to go in and be mean to the helpless pets..its very sad!

I been through that with another pet store,im so sorry to hear that about your puppy! Make some huge picket signs and when you get spare time get as many people as you can and set up along the street and warn others..they will eventualy make it right to get you to leave..that makes me very angry to hear,,i feel so bad for you!

I am also in process of doing research to prove that she does business with Puppy Mills!!!
This store is far from reputable.
