The state should weigh and do body fat scans on all people getting food handouts.If you are morbidly obese or unhealthy because of grotesque eating habits make it so your card only allows you to buy proper unprocessed foods.These are emergency funds to keep you and your kids alive,not a free trip to sugar land.I cant stand seeing 300 pound plus sweatbeasts with legs bigger than my entire torso getting 8-900 dollars a month of free junk food amd then getting social security disability because they are to fat to walk.

No, society cannot make nor should it make people eat correctly.

The government has already gone too far.

What is really sad is that the majority or Americas either don’t understand or hate the following statement, because if they did understand and/or care we would not be having this conversion to begin with.

Well Selecia, you have fewer rights and liberties than one did 200, 100 years ago and the majority of Americas are more than happy to hand more rights, freedoms and liberties over at an ever increasing pace.

While I agree with the poster about the accountability of his or her monies, the sad part, as I see it is that government is redistributing so much money that this has become an issue.

I often hear people on the left, in the middle and on the left tout that they “don't want the government to have that much control”. The question we must ask ourselves is why then to we continue to vote for more government control.

I don't want the gov't deciding what I can and can't eat. I'm not on gov't assistance, but where does it begin/end in my opinion? Give the gov't an inch it will take a mile. History proves that. We have a lot of selfish voters out there. Many voting to increase their bottom line or thinking they're exempt (as in the food stamp issue) so they'd vote for more gov't intrusion.

Bingo, The voters are the issue:
Those of the religious right will say we love America and freedom, however government must make sure you don’t smoke, use non-government drugs, choose not to pray, have privacy in your own homes and bedrooms if you are of the same sex, etc…
Those of the far left will say we love America and freedom, however government must protect us from the decision we make, pay for our rehab if we become addicted to drug, make sure that if I don’t what to pray no one can, make sure that no one has a differing opinion about me if he or she chooses to be or is born different, etc….
Those in the middle, will they will try to make both sides happy and ride the fence.

AND government they just node their heads and say YES we will….Take your freedoms and liberties away at your request.

Yea what he said. Just more of the moral decline of america. Yea the Republicans may have put us in the ditch as obama said. But he's at the wheel driving us over a cliff with his Marxist Utopian new world order experiment. By time the koolaid wears off it may be too late. Except for another revolution. And that explains a lot as to why all the gov ammo buys. U.n. agenda 21. And the fema camps. Obama just needs one good catastrophe to declare Marshall law. Wich will be by the govs making.
