FYI there is a plan for long term maintenance. The materials used weren't cheap. And I'm going to stop bickering on this site of grown adults and follow the advice of playground volunteer 2 and just pay attention to the tons of kids I see playing on there every day as proof that it's a great playground. And pardon me, but I did take what you said as offensive to all of the volunteers - myself included.
If you don't put any effort into making the playground then don't complain, two thumbs up to all who are trying. As far as cheap whats needed some NY fruit to design it so its ok. I remember when a broom made a good horse and a rope with a tire made a good swing, anything is better than nothing.

All of you do good showboats are so worried about your vanity you cannot shut the crap up about your piss ant project. Well, HotShots, it sure must need a lot of justifying for you to constantly defend a lawsuit in the making and an obvious scam. Putting your project on the board and thumping your chest about it will produce realists with valid critique. If you are so happy with the "tons of children" enjoying your work of art and treasure to humanity then shut the f up about how wonderful it is. I did not put an ounce of effort in it and I will complain.

This board was started by some one who thought the park looked nice but had some complaints. It wasn't started by any of the dedicated volunteers who built the playground. And the majority of the negativity on here is not what I would call "valid critiques." More like grumpy old men.

The figures given for the cost are sufficient to voice valid criticism. Of course, the daft and zany do gooders and goof balls who want to help "the children" are going to be the zombies doing the work. Of course, the whole concept was not started by the zombies; the ruling crooks and/or their kin/friends/butt buddies are behind this. It always works that way.

Name calling cannot refute history. Old men remember past scams and happen to know the principals involved. Suckers are born and reincarnated every day in Bonham.

Hey, I am for all of that. Let us have a kissing booth with our Mayor in it. We will have a good contingent from Oaklawn , Kessler Park, and Bishop Arts District wanting to contribute and design a park worthy of more than the kiddos. Why, who knows, they might even come to baby sit. We can have a grand opening and have Bounds serve the punch.
