That sure is a must read for a menu of second class bullshit. Personal reasons, my ass. I am certain the expenditures, as listed, make as much sense as the accounting practices of recent Fannin County bookkeepers of note. I look forward to the day when people in Fannin County will pull their heads out of their asses.

I agree. It is going to be too late by the time folks wake up. Can you believe she was making 80k?? What a joke!

It was board members - 3 of them I think.

If he cared so much for the kids, he would show it by being at more activities. It's a bunch of lies. An example, families don't move to where you have improved facilities, they move for the jobs and education. Not much of the money is going toward education except for the Ag barn, which is over due.

From the article:

6. New softball field (including lights and scoreboard

8. Artificial surface at Warrior Stadium

9. New weight room building with new weights

11. Improve water/sewer from concessions at baseball field

12. Renovate baseball dugouts

13. Addition of lockers in sub varsity boys dressing room

14. Addition of lockers in LHR Junior High dressing room

I'm laughing, the coaches got their hands on the budget and stole money that could be better spend on educating students and preparing them for college (the ones that have an I.Q. over 85, anyway). High school athletics mean NOTHING in life, it's book-learning that lets a student advance to university-level scholastics and move away from Bonham and have a future beyond dealing dope in the Walmart parking lot at night.

Go Warriors, derp, derp, derp!!!

This improvement commitee did nothing to get rid of all the tornado magnet portable classrooms that were donated and scattered around the school prpperty. That should have been number one in the planning.

That would take away the possibility for federal disaster aid money and untold kickback booty and thievery. Just think, if there were a tornado hit and hurt the "children" BISD, city government, county clowns, and leading families/slumlords would mop up. Hell, they might even swing a concert by that guy from Louisiana who talks, looks, and acts like a Bonhamite/Lamar County clone: Trace Adkins.

Marvin Beaty lies as effortlessly as I breathe. I stated several months ago that BISD would face some kind of financial crisis within the next year, and with the scandal that has just occurred, I was ahead of the curve. Taxpayers, watch your pockets. The money issue with the CFO situation will find a way to your wallets. This $3 million dollar "loan" will end up being closer to 5 or 6, once Beaty and Bounds get everything they want, and the programs that really need it get screwed over.

The BISD shills and education deadheads have yet to scout the board as most are presently partying in Plano or Oaklawn tonight. Some are partying with Cheif Pyle's henchmen in Durant. Wait until tomorrow and the snide remarks will pop up. Do not dare mention the leading rats in less than a reverential tone. These POSs come unglued.

Do you think the administrators really care about these buildings or what's in them? Aren't the students and teachers from FCSSA mainly the ones in these buildings? In my opinion, the administrators and many others probably don't think the jobs these people do are "glamorous or cool enough" to warrant getting them a real classroom. If any of the FCSSA teachers have a classroom inside the actual school building and not one of these "tornado traps," they had better lie-low in my opinion...they may get booted to one so no one has to acknowledge them. Do the administrators even acknowledge the extremely hard work these people do in these rooms or are the workers and kids booted to these "tornado traps" with the idea that "out of sight out of mind?" How about BISD Administrators patting these "FCSSA/BISD" workers on the back, smiling at these kids and sharing a nice word and if possible, letting them know they mean enough to eventually get them moved out of these tacky portable buildings. Plus, let the ones not currently in the portable buildings know they mean enough to not be shipped to one either to open up a room for "more glamorous, more politically correct" people with less taxing jobs. Yes, I get aggravated about the subject of those "tornado trap portables" since my special needs kid was once one of the students whose classroom was in one.
