Morals of BISD

What an immoral decision the school board made when they extended the contract of Bounds with a raise of $8,000. BISD board has lost credibility and respect from people in the community and who they may consider as their own friends. The victims in all this is the students. We as a community must promote morals and standards so that young children have something to look up to, and to be molded as good citizens. Being caught drinking and driving is not having morals or standards. Many people die each year from DWI's. It takes a village to raise a child. We all have a part in it.

Let us hope Mayor Floyd makes a video presentation about moral living. It might be appropriate if he is conservatively dressed. I am sure that will make a great impression on all the young people. Some have been dying to see his other video presentations.

He rides around drinking with his other coach (that got the DWI) and gets a $8000 raise.
Just think, If.... he would have just run from the police and wrecked out like the Sherman coach and Sherman Heart Doctor did, BISD could have him making over $100,000 by now.
I'm sure he still has time, BISD big wigs get contract extensions every few months. I think they have Marv's contract renewed until 2769, and might take up an extension next month! That 1.3 million dollar artificial turf is "lookin good", do the teachers still have to buy their own mouse traps?

For all of the holier-than-thou morons who will come running in and say "Run for office if you don't like it the current board!": how about expecting the current crop of idiots on the school board to grow a spine and do the right thing?? Isn't why they're there in the first place, to balance the needs of the students' education with extra-curricular sports??
Stick a fork in Bonham, it's done..........

There are a minority of registered voters voting in any given election. Disregarding ballot rigging, a very big avoidance and delusion, most avid voters are related or connected in some manner to the current officeholders. Other voters in Bonham are not too animated about voting and are prone to pressure and influence from cousins, deacons, preachers, and fellow pew warmers. There is absolutely no need for the board members to have spine as they are doing as they want and the ruling circle desires. There is no need to stick a fork in Bonham. It has been a Zombietown and corruption, crime vector for over 50 years. How in the hell anyone could possibly think Marvin is out of his element in the county seat of Fannin is beyond me. He is where he belongs and he will not leave until he wants to go.
