Got a new ATV for Christmas and live over in Adamsville. I dont know where to take it and ride other than "dry creek" as I did not grow up around here. I have heard of a spot close to Adamsville, but dont know exactly where it is, and a friend took me down to "gator rock" amoung other places, but he has since moved away. Any help with some directions would be great!
well

Good luck with the Dry creek spot. TWRA has that property leased now. You cannot ride the property unless you are in a street legal vehicle that has registered tags. They done that so they could make money off people like you that dont the new rules. Everything is posted anymore.

Yea,dry creek is out these days, there's a place in purdy called lost lake that I rode a few years back but I was with other people so I don't have access. If you wanted to drive a little piece there's a place in summertown near Columbia that's an awesome place to ride, it's an off road park. They have a website it's called wheelin the country,

I think it is funny that you by a ATV with no place to ride to start with...ATVs are off-road vehicles and therefore the state has no mandate to provide you a place to ride. If you have a place or pay to ride on a place that's great. But, if you are riding places you don't either don't have permission or it is illegal...then you are violating the law. If you don't care then its like speeding when get caught you have to pay the price. If your tearing up the property and/or riding where you should not, you can be charged with vandalism which means you must pay the cost of fixing the damage and/or loss property value due to the damage. I know hunters and landowners pay a high prices to utilize property to harvest game animals...it is is time off road folks start leasing and/or buying property to do what they like to do. This is the USA not a socialism, pay the price if you can and do what you want as long as it is legal. Hunters been do this long before there was an ATV.

So, if I want ride in your yard and make a mud hole in yard...you would be OK with that. If you say yes then that means you don't have any property or have friends who do.

Maybe you did make the trails a long time ago but the property has since changed ownership and is also leased and ATV riding is not welcome without permission
