Tennessee is ranked #1 in the nation for meth. West Tennessee has the highest rate of meth use in the state. Meth is truly destroying Hardin County. I think the HCSD and SPD should make the meth heads (cookers, dealers, users) begin to disappear. No one would miss them and it would do the regular citizens a big favor.
The only people that would complain are the ones involved in the meth culture. Get busy Boys, do some off-duty work.

How about we decriminalize all drugs...

Why should you worry about what one does in the confines of their home??? Its about time we stop pursuing victimless crimes, and worry about other things...

When I was in the 'Nam we had a saying....Kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out. Worked out fine for the gooks and will work out as well for the meth heads.

if the topic was marijuana, you would be correct. in the case of meth, you are dead wrong. you obviously have never seen a true meth head in your life or you would not have said that. people on meth will steal and lie their ass off to friends and family members to get it. oh and dont forget the fact that making it in a house endangers everyone inside.

And with meth labs blowing up, it endangers everyone that lives around that house!

If no other agency in the country, including the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA); who deals only with narcotics, can't make the problem go away then How can you expect a small department like HCSO or SPD to do it. They make drug cases every week but you can't keep up with meth makers. It's to easy to manufacture. The cops are out numbered 100 to 1 when it comes to drug dealers and manufactures. Drugs will never go away people, not in Hardin county or anywhere else. Learn to live with it. The problem is people blame the makers and dealers for theirselves or loved ones being addicted when its the users problem. They don't quit making clothes because of shopaholics. Maybe if you could get the addict to stop using the dealer would have no reason to manufacture and sell.
