I make more money than they do. Not all of them. I wish it would go out of town. Yes people would Lose there jobs but it would help out so much more people because this town is so over priced. I know one guy his pay check was 1200 dollars and he is mec. There and that was over time. He been the about 15 years. I been at me job for 5 and I make that. I never even went to collage and the thing about it I'm up for a big raise. Will soon be make 100000+ a year and won't even work all of it.

This area would gain if it shut down. Now the banks would suffer because they all are loaned out. Why is it so common for people to get a job there and try to live like they make $150k plus? It'd a redneck thing

Go ask Jim Davis, what strings he pulled. He was like 55-60 years old when they hired him. He takes off anytime he wants & as long as he desires. Talking about good ol boy system....Most of them I know that works there are dope heads.

All of y'all a~~holes who are trashing the paper mill would give your eyeteeth to work there!!! And yes, it is a factory, but most of the workers who make the big bucks have gone to school for at least 2 to learn their craft and are highly skilled. They make more money than most people with a 4 year degree and love their jobs. So go ahead and trash me and all the mill workers, you're just showing how jealous you are!!!

I will agree... a bunch of the statements are true, but why so much hate? Be happy for others whom have a job, and don't just sit at home living off tax payers hard earned cash. I direct that to the ones who abuse the system . The Mill now takes new application at Pickwick inn when they hire, not through job source any more. Will published in paper when it happens. I for one would never wish bad thing to happen to another, as a would not wish bad things to happen to my family or I. That Mill has provide for many in area either directly, or indirectly. That mill has donated millions in its years of operation for the local area. Will always be the ones whom only see the glass half empty, for those.. Pity. Spread love, not hate.

Yea, your right. You wish you could. But you can't because even if you did pool all of your money together you couldn't buy the sprinker system here. there has been many company's that want this mill. Want to know why? Because it makes more damn money in north America , they can't afford to buy it.

Sir, I find it hard to believe that you would be getting paid for anything other than chewing up rocks. I am now dumber having read your post. May God have mercy on your illiterate soul. There's an old saying that has never been more true than this instance. "It is better to appear ignorant than open your mouth and remove any doubt".
