Zorro, do you not realize you are playing into the mudslinging and partisan politics by poisting this stuff ad nauseum? This is why the two party system is bad, it gives the politicos a method to give each other scapegoats, and to set us on our ear against each other. Party dogma gets people like you and "thanks" arguing over dogmatic principle or party platforms like gay marriage, or voter identification, meanwhile the country burns due to an out of control economy.

Ideally, if we were to do away with party politics, a man or woman would have to run oin their own name, their own principles, their own carefully chosen platform. They would not be able ot hide behind party dogma, platforms, or committees. When they screwed up, it would simply be their name they ruined, and they would not have party attorneys to clean up their messes. If they did soemthign criminal, then the liklihood of them beiong prosecuted for ity would increase, as there would not be a party to get them off the hook, or else have them censured in lieu of prosecution. People who fall prey to party politics need to realize that the parties are a disservice to them as a voter and citizen.

Republican Tea Parties have no National Unifying Rules or Doctrine. The political views of Tea Partiers varies, depending on location and the prevailing views of that populace.
Two Tea Party Groups, including Freedom Works, whose co-founder and co-chairman, former House Majority Speaker Dick Armey, supports expanded Immigration and Immigrant Rights.
The Cato Institute has joined business groups and Immigration Advocates in calling Amnesty and an "Open Border Policy."
Their support for uregulated Immigration is consistent with the Libertarian Tea Party Member's endorsement of unfettered Free Market Capitalism and their pro-free enterprise stance.

This is the craziest thing. Here these people are wanting to do away with Roe V Wade, at the same time, they are howling for the end of the Medicare Program, and all other Social Programs that feed, clothe, house, educate, and medicate the very kids they insist must be born.
The Republican Tea Party does not want to pay one single copper cent of tax money for Child Welfare.

And what pray tell Is your political affiliation? Although rest assured, I was not suggesting that youy were a democrat, just that you were falling into the mudslinging trap. I myself am a Libertarian, and I tend to stay away from mudlsinging, as it is why I choose to be a Libertarian. The political parties only seek to keep people inflamed against each other, so that htye are ignorant to the lack of work actually done in we the people's names. I don't share your Libertarian views. David H. Koch, one of the Koch Brothers does, or at least claims he does.
I have found that just as soon as an organization gains power and recognition, strange folks with strange ideas show up in the membership. Then they start jockeying for the leadership positions. I am a loner because of that fact.
The Republican Party has become a dangerous religious Cult, with an eye toward forcing their political and social ideas on the rest of us. I don't like people trying to Force their beliefs on me.
I like a few of Ron Paul's ideas, but I reject the majority of his beliefs. I don't like the endless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We can't afford it, and they put our safety as individuals, and as a nation in jeopardy.
Ron Paul is not a true Libertarian because he is against same-sex marraige. A true Libertarian would not care, or interfere in social issues. Of course Ron Paul may have been driven to say he was against same-sex marraige by the GOP right wingers. If he is bowing to pressure from the right, then he is dishonest about being a Libertarian. That shows that he does not have the courage to state his convictions.
Most people know very little or nothing of the things I brought up in this forum. If you don't know what an organization's intentions are, how do you decide whether you want to support them or not?

I support Social Security, Medicare and National Health Insurance. I am not a pure Socialist, but I like some Socialist Programs.
Contrary to what the American people were told by Republicans, the Canadians truly Love their national Health Care.

NOT One Single Bankruptcy in Canada was caused by Medical Bills.
Canada had the very same "For Profit Health Care System" that we have. Canada got rid of it and the Canadian people will Never go back to "For Profit Health Care.
Even Canadian Conservative politicians support Canada's National Health Care System or they don't get elected to office.
The Canadian people think we are stupid not to go to National Health Care. I agree with the Canadians.
We pay More Per Person for Health Care than any country in the world. Every developed country in the world Has National health Care except for the USA.
We already pay for Illegal Alien and Indigent Health Care with County Property Tax money mainly, along with a contribution by the State with Sales Tax Dollars. The Hospitals and Doctors get their money from us.
As for as treatment goes, we pretty much have National Health Care with just a few of us paying all the Medical Bills for everyone, plus the profits for the insurance companies.
National Health Care requires everyone who works to pay into the system, even the kids at fast food restaurants, based on what you make.
