1 Now old Bob has seen the light and repented his part in the passage of the "Defense of Marraige Act," the "DOMA." Today, Bob Barr is working hard in Republican circles to Repeal the DOMA. Just a few months ago, Bob Barr was chosen to be the KeyNote Speaker at the Annual National Gay & Lesbian Log Cabin Republican Convention, held in Dallas,Texas. Imagine that! Bob BArr took the podium and profusely apologized to the LGBT Republicans for his part in the passage of the DOMA and promised to work tirelesssly to repeal it. Then John McCain's daughter Megan McCain spoke to the conventioneers. John couldn't make it to the convention. Then the LCR Leaders announced their Win over the Military Policy "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" to thunderous applause. |
