You uneducated, racist, ignorant prick!!! If you'd take the time to sit down and read a history book you'd learn that this is our homeland!!! We are born Americans! If you don't like it, then you're pretty much fucked because we are here to stay!!!

That is a ingnorant commentary. Here in Puerto Rico as in the USA there are bad people who have the mind ill and they are not reflected of the society in which the Puerto Ricans live. The past week I was also surprised when I saw the news one father who kills his 5 children and their wife and kill itself. That is the reflection of the Americans or is a case like this of an mind ill.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. That is not a reflection of the American people. The same way this recent murder is not a reflection of the Puerto Rican people.

PR is not a 3rd world country. I'd do a bit more research on PR before commenting on it if I were you.. You obviously know nothing about it. I'd also encourage you to look p the definition of a 3rd world country.

To William from North Haven Ct.- you are an ignorant fool, because of people like you there is much hate in the world. I love my Puerto Rican people and just because this scum committed this atrocity you are generalizing. Do you listen to the news or read the papers of the murders committed here in the U.S.? Get educated.

It is sad to read of the crimes and hatred of this world, Which is all around us, and is down right evil, however we cannot escape the crimes and horrific things that is befallen us all,it is sad that we cannot leave our home day or night because someone ill minded is out to commit this kind of acts. It doesn't mean that all puerto rican's are bad,or all American or Black's. It just happen so that there is evil in every race, and that is something we cannot escape, We just have to take precaution were ever we go and always have someone with you. Times are different and danger is everywhere, It could be your neighbor or even a family member or a teacher. We just never know, but we should alway be allert and use more caution.

I don't understand stand why everyone is acting so suprise as to what has happen, another crime?but it happens that it took place in Puerto Rico? Wake up people we have Amber Alert and I wonder why? The Island didn't commit the crime or the race. It was the person and I would think by now everyone is getting use to that crime is getting worst,so please don't act like this is something new. I think the shock is that a Puerto Rican actually do such a thing. Well wake up and realise that they are wickedness in every person, color or race is irrelevant and as we can see by some of these commits that ignorance is a bliss and what we all need to do is be more cautious of our surrounding and alert that danger is all over the world, including Canada.

I believe that Puerto Rico is border line to a third world country. I would know because I lived here long enough to almost say I was born here. Look there is good and bad everywhere, and you can find both good and bad here in Puerto Rico. I for one say that Puerto Rico is far from perfect, and would not survive if the US was not giving us money. I mean MORE than half of the island is on welfare, and all they do is have babies to get more money from the government. Plus most of the people dont graduate from high school, and so far the hardest working people I have met are the Dominicans because they dont have money from the government to rely on.

There is a lot of truth in what you said here, but. let's face it. No one here starves to death, everyone has shoes and clothing to wear, and everyone has "decent" roof to live under.. Haiti is a 3rd world country, very few people have those things. But I agree no US, then we would be on the way...

This is to chico, Chico there a lot of people here in the United State hungry and without clothing, young girls get pregnant by the day, and on welfare as well, and crime is everywhere, again we hear of this sort of thing everyday, in the entire world, all over, What I cannot understand why everyone is acting so surprise, like this sort of crime has never happen before, again it did happen and it happen that it was Puerto Rico, that means, that where ever we go,wither is on vacation we need to be alert of our surroundings and take more precaution. You people are really sad bunch, children get abducted, woman, man. Here in the United States we have Amber Alert. This is a very sad situation, and instead of being divided, what we need to be is united and look out for the well being of all people, regarless of their race or color. I would think by now we would be pass this racist mentality,as we all bleed in red. I can only pray for all that have taken this attitude of ignorance and hope that we could look for better world without crime, as for this situation again, this could've been any woman jogging out that morning, and if you have read the news, he had another victim in his car last week, thought she manage to escape, she was only 13. Would it make everyone happy if it would've been her. I pray to god that anyone in here would not think in such a manner. I myself and my sister were able to escape from a man who had abducted us, I won't name the race or where this took place, my sister was 8mos pregnant, and it happen while taking a taxi home. I thank god everyday that I was able to act and think and not panic, to have been able to escape as we did. I never cared for the race or the city we happen to live in, the bottom line is this man was out to hurt someone that day, and we are fortunate to be here today. I will leave all with that.

please excuse my typos, for i type and think ahead of myself, and this is very upsetting to me, to see how the human race is reacting to something that is real and is happening more and more every moment of the day, and to come to the realization that no where is safe, no country, state, city is exempt from such crimes we are facing each day. We are all in this together as a whole. Instead of pointing finger, let stop the hate and know that ill people live among us all over the world, and take more precaution where ever we go. May god be with us all.
