I do watch MSNBC and also FNC only to see what lies one side is telling the other side. I watch real news sources when I want to get some idea what's going on in the world, the ones FNC calls "main stream media". The ones that give the news of the day around the world, not the one focused on stupid senseless political wrangling, that's your thing.
Health insurance companies are the ones selling and implementing insurance coverage, just as they do today. Only difference is they have a few rules to follow, like they can't raise your rate or cancel you if you get sick, like they do now. Doctors are required to keep up to date digital medical records to share with your other doctors so the left hand knows what the right hand is doing, they don't now. It's also mandatory for all to pay a fair share of the health care costs they receive. Not like now when the ones without get care at the expense of the ones with insurance.
Its more like what YOU are getting for free now, kind of like Medicare for the masses only they have to pay for it. They chose the plan they want from an insurer they prefer and they pay for it, nice concept if you would just think about it.
I will admit that people who can't afford insurance get some help. But today its just not the ones who can't afford it who get help, but the ones can but prefer to gamble on not having insurance. Because they know they will get it for free anyway. Now give me your moronic take on that, it makes sense to most.
If Obamacare is so great, wonder why articles are being published almost every day that are warning us of what's to come? I guess you didn't accept the articles I posted from the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Huffington Post, Bloomberg, etc. as credible sources, huh? Guess it doesn't mean anything to you that even some democrats are concerned about the possible ramifications of Obamacare, huh? Guess you haven't been lied to enough because you are still spewing the Koolaid driven rhetoric. You didn't read any of the articles I posted from those sources, did you? You admitted you get your news from the mainstream media. Well, that makes sense. We all understand why you have no idea what you are supporting. You are simply parroting what you are being fed from the left wing main stream media. I watch those news programs, too, and I'm NOT hearing them singing the praises of Obamacare any longer. Wonder why the business owner mandate has been postponed? Tell us what your take is on that. I'd like to hear what YOU think the reasons are. Those of you who keep hanging on to the Hope and Change that you voted for, but not received remind me of children who find out that there is no Santa Claus. It's pitiful, really.

I completely agree that we need to take care of Americans first.

We need to deport all illegal aliens without the need for hearings - either they're illegal or their not.

Then throw the employers who hire them in jail.

Problem solved.

Come on -
Lets get real -
$104 a month for hospitalization and medical care - I don't know if that include drugs under Part D - for an 83 year old diabetic who needs heart medication, three stents, and $600 a month prescription medication, rehab, and home health care ?
Maybe if they paid $9,467.22 a month a private insurer would consider insuring them - them of course - they'd be rejected.
My employees in their late 50s and early 60s cost over $900 a month each for quality hospitalization and medical insurance and prescription drug insurance.
As for Medicaid - I can't recall how many affluent acquaintances I know who transferred their parents funds into trusts so that the taxpayers get to pay for Medicaid nursing home beds.
We just have to realize that allowing private insurers to profit from interposing themselves between people and their medical care is extraordinarily immoral, and economically idiotic.
Every other industrialized country on the entire planet has realized this long ago and stopped sacrificing the health and lives of their children on the alter of the Sacred Alter of their God of Capitalism.
No sense in giving you actual information as you just can't seem to comprehend it, or you just want to spin everything into your own propaganda. I just explained something factual to you but to no avail. If you don't believe it then look it up. Wow!

What's wrong with insurance companies getting to insure only healthy people and leave those sick turkeys for the taxpayers to take care of, and then canceling coverage of them healthy folks that gets sick.
That's how they make their profits, and the onliest people screwed is the taxpayers cause they got to provide medical care to the sick, sicker, and sickest.
Sounds line good capitalism to me - the instance companies make huge profits and the taxpayers get screwed.
We worship the God of Capitalism in this Country by God (of Capitalism) and anything that interferes with profits, in any way, is just damn sinful - and I, for your information and gonna be part of no sinnin.

If it weren't for those unions - those employees wouldn't get decent wages, wouldn't have pensions, wouldn't have vacations, wouldn't have medical insurance, wouldn't have job security, wouldn't have safe working conditions, and the jobs would all be taken by illegal aliens working at sub-human wages.

SOLUTION: Force people to buy healthcare insurance
You and I will be paying for it. There is no shopping if you have no money!

Why be mad at me ?
I'm not a freeloading deadbeat. I have health care insurance. I even subsidize my employees' health care insurance.
Be mad at those freeloading deadbeats who want to force taxpayers to provide free hospital and medical care for them and their families.
Be mad at those hypocritical blowhards who enjoy Medicare, Medicare Part D, V.A. medical care, Tri-Care, or have their mommas enjoying Medicaid beds in nursing homes - and whine about "socialist" health care.
God bless the F.O.P.!
Be happy for me and my co-workers. We battled those management scabs every step of every way for 22 years - and scratched and clawed decent pay and benefits - then those freeloading deadbeat scabs enjoyed the benefits we obtained.
Now, my friends and I collect 80% to 100% pensions, for life - because we fought for our rights, instead of standing around whining - and trying to keep our fellow Americans from getting better pay and benefits.
Travel is easy.
Thanks to corporate tax law, almost every trip is a legitimate business expense, so almost every trip is a write-off. And yes, I have a CPA, Enrolled Agent who does our taxes and makes sure we follow every tax law to the absolute letter.
or it's completely free, because its paid for by a company that wants to do business, and the trip is required.
If you want to invest in Central or South America, you have to travel to Central and South America.
Ever wonder why the doctors like to have their conventions in Hawaii - thanks taxpayers.
YOU didn't scratch and claw your way to anything. You are living off the scratching and clawing of those before you. Give me a break.
Well, the head of the AFL-CIO is NOT happy with Obama about Obamacare. Seems that postponing the business owner mandate is flying in the face of the unions who bought and paid for him. Oops.

Nope. The liberals want the votes. The conservatives have never had and will never have the Hispanic vote. It's ALL about the votes. Nothing more. They don't care about the Americans. They don't care about the illegals. They DO care about figuring out a way to get the votes. The only way to insure the votes is to throw hope to the illegals. If a bill ever passes, amnesty will be granted in order to get the votes. Wait and see.

Nope, I love Capitalism.
I simply understand that there are circumstances where capitalism is the stupidest answer to the question.
It may, or may not make sense to allow regulated private insurers to insure your home and car.
It is absolutely idiotically moronic to allow private insurers to insure the cost of medical care for yourself or your family.
Think about it.
First, billions of dollars that could be used to provide hospital and medical care are unnecessarily diverted to profit taking.
Second, the incentives are ass-backwards.
Insurance companies exist to make the highest profit possible - they don't give a damn if you or your kids live, die, or roll in the mud like little piglets - that just ain't their thing.
So they charge the highest amount possible and pay the least benefits possible.
So you pay the most - and get the least.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that is ludicrously stupid.
But hey ... If someone worships the Sacred God of Capitalism - its more important to them that United Healthcare's profits explode - that United's CEO gets his billion dollar golden parachute, than it is that their kids receive medical care.
As for me... capitalism is a fine system to determine how much your gonna pay for a long-neck beer - or how much you're gonna pay a consultant to help you maximize your company's profits,
- but single-payor, government regulated health insurance and/or care is the only way to go.
So if the U.S. starts using a single payer system it will be better? You don't think the government is going to count nickles when it is giving out health care to you? Sure it will. Just as the insurance companies do. But with insurance I can pick just how much and good of care I will receive. Depends on the cost of the policy and which insurance company I use. I can also pick which hospital I want to use. I can pick the doctors I want to use. I can take the prescriptions that are prescribed to me, not what the government wants me to take. I won't have some government bureaucrat that knows nothing, telling me that I am too old and am not worth saving my life, or that they have spent the allowed amount of money on me and they will do no more. I won't have to wait weeks maybe months just to see a doctor and then months to get a life saving operation.
All of the above is the standard procedure in many countries that have socialized healthcare.
I can't believe you equate the beer you buy with the healthcare that you will receive.Pretty nutty if you ask me.

Why don't they "get" that with the government in charge of our healthcare, we will have NO choices??? We will be completely at the government's mercy.
