Uhmmmm, interesting, you assume the persona of a long dead Civil War General then claim to be insulted when it is factually stated that you are no longer in command of anything. Just who has been insulted, the long dead Civil War General or the poser that thinks the persona is real enough to command attention.

Did you have a question?

You were asked a direct question, this is the third time you have refused to answer it. The rest of your post, as usual, is just a liberal sop.

The AHCA is designed to fail. I am afraid it is designed to put the government in charge of everything that has to do with healthcare. That would be a single payer system.
What is even scarier, if that is possible,that the whole healthcare system in this country may collapse and we will all have no healthcare.
Obamacare probably can’t be fixed short of dumping it and starting over, but this would require an admission by the president and his men (and women) that they’re as incompetent and maladroit as events reveal them to be. The president’s acolytes in the media hail the delay as a genius stroke of politics, something to get the Democrats past the 2014 congressional elections before “the fiasco for the ages” is displayed in full.

Thank you for posting this, Wesley Pruden does have a gift for the turn of phrase:

"The editors of The New York Times, Mr. Obama’s most reliable sycophants, are deep in mourning, but working furiously to apply more rouge to the corpse before it turns the parlor too fragrant for a wake. It’s summer, and they’re running out of ice."

"Handwringing and delay is never a strategy for D-Day; when the beach slides under the bottom of the Higgins boats it’s too late to consider whether the invasion was a good idea."

As Mr Pruden noted, the WSJ wasn't too shabby either:
'Pundits and professors are rifling through the thesaurus, looking for the right word to describe what the Wall Street Journal calls “a fiasco for the ages.” The Journal editorialists reminded everyone that they “fought the Affordable Care Act from start to passage, and we’d like to apologize to our readers. It turns out we weren’t nearly critical enough.”'

Why do Right Wingers never tell the "whole truth"
Having been to England a half dozen times myself - I noted that people in England love the government run National Health Service.
If you want to commit career suicide as a politician in England - just propose doing away with the National Health Service.
Why not tell Americans how much the countries with government run health services love them and would never give them up ?
Wait ..... never mind.
I have friends in Canada, Italy, New Zealand and Costa Rica who say its the best thing going, ALL of them are from the U.S. Its the most common form of health care in the world, and they are all rated higher by the W.H.O. than the U.S. Keep believing the fairytale, corporate American just loves you.

Obama is so far to the right he nudges Bush.

- Bush started the idiotic Iraq War ... Obama still has troops there;
- Bush started bombing civilians with drones...Obama still does and has killed dozens more than Bush;
- Bush started that War Crime called Guantanamo...Obama keeps it open(
- Bush started subcontracting illegal killing to mercenaries... Obama maintains the same policy;
- Bush secretly assassinated Americans he claimed were "enemy combatants" in some idiotically described "war", on a "battlefield" that includes Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Little Rock, Arkansas...Obama claims the same "authority";
- Bush replaced U.S. Attorneys with Right Wing Wackos... Obama kept 'em;
- Bush turned the country's economy over to Wall Street Banksters... Obama did the same thing;
- Bush allowed the Bankters to steal trillions from Americans, destroy the economy, make millions homeless, and collect bonuses for their traitorous doings...Obama refused to prosecute the Banksters, letting them keep the money and avoid prison;
- Bush pursued "Whistleblowers" who told Americans of their governments crimes and misconduct...Obama prosecutes 5X more Whistleblowers than Bush;
- Bush trampled on the international rights sovereign nations...Obama just forced down a foreign president's official plane,(imagine if Air Force One was forced down and searched);
- Bush took millions from corporations that paid to avoid regulations...Obama has taken more;

and on and on.

Obama, like all Right Wingers, likes to talk about gays and guns, but, like all Right Wingers, he knows what's important and it's called m.o.n.e.y. and p.o.w.e.r.

And since Obamacare is the greatest thing since sliced bread, I ask you again - why wasn't four years long enough to implement it, why is Obama delaying the employer mandate?
Because it a huge undertaking that requires insurance companies, doctors and hospitals to do things they didn't want to do. Why, to make the health care system a little simpler . And it requires them to have the same information available to all. My doctor in Blairsville and a lot of others had to learn to use computers in the office to keep records. They had to make our health care history available to all of our other doctors and hospitals with the click of a mouse. Why is the employer mandate being delayed? Its like a lot of things in life, its fluid, the bill is a work in progress and it will always be a work in progress. Its just not as simple as you are.

1st, Obama had no choice but continue the Bush wars. He actually did pass some legislation to control Wall Street that the Republicans are hot to repeal. Any other good legislation has been stonewalled by the Tea Party. Obama talks about gays and guns while conservatives pass laws and spend time try to pass more legislation on abortion, gays and guns. The 1st 90% of your post is hogwash!

BUT we agree 100% about the money and power. The rich 5% are running the country while the majority of us stick our collective heads in the sand and concentrate on stupid social issues as the powerful gain more control and more money.

But its the Republicans, mainly conservatives who are the ones focused on getting the masses to look away from what really matters. They are turning to issues like gay marriage, abortion & gun control to keep the base clueless and happy. The conservative masses just look at that and only that and ignore what really matters to us as a nation of so called free people. If you are a conservative and actually believe what you said about the rich 5%, the ball is and has been in your court, do something with it, please!

A convoluted post that needs clarifying, at least to me.

To clarify one point, your post is against conservatives, as the repub party caters to conservatives; while the democratic party caters to socialists.

And you really think abortion, gays, and guns control are a side issue?? How clueless can one be?

And then you post some dribble about what really matters to Americans, but fail to identify what it is and how it matters to a free people.

At least it's easy to get the socialist points from IO with a lot of dribble, but your posts ramble around in a briar patch and mostly don't even connect with reality.

With lung, breast, bowel, skin cancer rates expected to quadruple over the next 15-20 years, you'd be wise to keep a good private health plan. The very best you can afford, actually. While I'm not predicting you'll be stricken, the odds do stack up against us. Since it's so obvious you believe the Obamacare fairytale, you be sure to DEMAND the IPABs seek the very best cancer treatment options available to you. You DEMAND they pay for a second opinion, you DEMAND to change doctors/facilities if you aren't happy. You DEMAND to be bumped up on the waiting list for surgeries & other treatment. You DEMAND it, darn it... And if you live long enough, you'll see your premiums skyrocket to the moon... It's FOLKS LIKE YOU who believe in the Obamacare fairytale, you actually believe Obama "loves you."

Let's see..

There is a clearly worded, factually supported, objective analysis that demonstrates that, for all practical purposes, Bush and Obama are clones...

and you perceive it as an attack on Bush.

Perhaps you should re-evaluate who has the obsession with Bush- as you seem to be way too defensive.

But hey... thanks for agreeing with the substance of the post, glad to see you accept Bush and Obama are Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum when it comes to the things that matter.

Great post.

My experience is similar.

But wait to be attacked because reality plays no role in our Right Wing friends' determinations.

Ask them how many countries with government run single payor health care have reverted to the American system ...(Answer -None).

Apparently government run/single payor health care is very popular in the countries that have adopted it - which is the entire industrialized world,(except us).

Those shiny objects just keep the Right Wingers and the Left Wingers completely transfixed.

All the reactionaries have to do is mention abortion, gun, or gays, and the Right Wing and Left Wing take their attention completely off the "money and power" issues.

Imagine, a "secret" court interpreting law and issuing warrants; a president who claims the right to assassinate your child, and a tax policy that has resulted in more income equality in Belarus than in the United States; and the battle is over whether you can have a 30 round magazine or a 10 round magazine in your AR-15A2.

At least it's entertaining to watch those enjoying socialist Medicare, Medicare Part D drugs, Medicaid nursing home beds for their parents, V.A. Medical benefits, and Tri-Care for themselves or their families complain about Socialist government run health care.

Either they cannot grasp the hypocrisy, or are simply greedy they just don't want to share. We'll let them chose- are they ignorant or just selfish.
