Gardener searches for missing marker
Loraine Mottern is on the hunt for a missing monument. The World War II-era Blue Star Memorial Highway marker that once resided along U.S. 31 near Elk Rapids has been AWOL since the mid-1950s, when the highway was rerouted to bypass the village's downtown area.

I don't know where its at, however there is a babies grave on u.s.31 right off the road in Yuba. Only one grave right by yuba Creek under a large Oak tree.
